I was just having this same problem! sleeves kept opening when i was mounting the records. I didn’t like the look of it. I ended up buying outer sleeves to put all my records in.. although it doesn’t look quite as good as just the record without a sleeve on, it’ll keep your records from getting damaged and it will stop them from openin up the jacket like that on the wall. These outer sleeves are pretty good for the money:
