My monitors (pictured right):

My wife's monitors (pictured left): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043T7FHK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The stands:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My wife doesn't notice difference between 60 and 144 FPS and doesn't play shooters so for her we went with a less expensive option that had a lower refresh rate/response time. The speakers are a little quieter too, and they don't have display ports (her aging GPU only has HDMI ports anyway). If you can spare the extra money per monitor I would HIGHLY recommend the VG248QEs. I've had these for about two or three years now and they've been a dream. Reliable, beautiful picture quality, speakers are loud af. I use display port cables on each and then I have my Switch hooked up to the right monitor with an HDMI. When it's time for me to play Smash with my buddies in discord, I just push a button and it flips right over for Switch time.

Couldn't recommend the stand enough either, things incredibly sturdy and well constructed. I've had it for as long as the monitors and purchased it again when buying my wife's monitors this week.

mount is absolutely terrible. base is too small and construction is poor quality. try a vivo instead. cheapest mount I could find worth using

u/j_harv · 8 pointsr/gaming

You don't need to have a mount. You can get one that has a single stand that works perfectly.

I live in Canada but I bought THIS ONE on Amazon. Works like a charm.

u/Subwayabuseproblem · 4 pointsr/pcmasterrace

Vivo mounts on amazon are a great value. I purchased a vertical mount for 2 ultrawide and it is very sturdy. I was skeptical about it because of the price but I have had no issues at all. This is close to what I bought but horizontal https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00C5H5DN0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_zBAeAbN7VA6B0

u/archedpenguin · 3 pointsr/buildapcsales

There are many with stands on amazon for ~$50 but the stands are pretty big.

I have this one.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This one. it comes with options to mount to your table if it's pre drilled or with the weighted stand.

u/HarrisonGreeley · 3 pointsr/battlestations

Vivo monitor stand

Monitors are Asus VG248QE and and VG258Q. I had two of the first one but I sent it in to be replaced and they gave me the newer model.

u/Freaking_Alabama · 2 pointsr/buildapcsales

This is the stand I got https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have this monitor paired with a 1080p 27" so they both make it just a little top heavy. In all, it took me about an hour to put together the mount and mount the 2 screens. I don't consider this too bad since I had never done it before.

u/runningantelope · 2 pointsr/Monitors

I would use Newegg to help narrow down your search since you can filter by # HDMI input, size, and VESA compatibility.

I would recommend getting a monitor that is VESA compatibile as you could always get a stand to allow you to rotate your monitor such as this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ which would give you more options on which monitor you get focusing on two HDMI inputs.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236335 was just on sale for $124.99 currently $154.99 with a $20 mail in rebate. IPS monitor with two HDMI inputs that will look better than the Dell monitor you linked. Keep an eye on it as it may go on sale again soon and the rebate is good till the end of the month. I current have https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00C5H5DN0/ref=psdcmw_10967501_t2_B009S750LA and its been great for me. It comes with a weighted base as well if you dont want to attach it to your desk

Edit: updated the link to the one with the base

u/Brostradamus_ · 2 pointsr/buildapc

I have this one and it's worked out well enough: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Though it is very unstable if you only have one monitor attached.

u/HMKS · 2 pointsr/bapccanada

Have you checked this one on Amazon? I haven't used one and am still waiting on buying another 24" monitor to use a clamped VESA mount to my desk.
Only thing is that it's a desk mount, not standing. Apologies if this was a pointless response for you.

u/affixqc · 2 pointsr/DotA2

I mounted them, and generally keep one centered in front of me, and the other one at a ~30 degree angle on the left side of my desk (so to look at it dead-on, my eyes or head need to be turned to the left a little).

When in a fullscreen game, I use it for web browsing or keep notes up for things relevant to that game. When web browsing I play videos on the second screen. It works out fine.

It easily could have been smaller, and totally didn't need to be 144hz/gsync, but I just like the look of having matching monitors!

u/xMEDICx · 2 pointsr/battlestations

u/marziazzz had it right. I was talking about something like this off Amazon. There are even some other ones with better arms so you could swivel your monitors 360 degrees or so.

Also, I was talking about your JDS digital audio converter and whatnot. I just clicked through to Imgur and saw your descriptions!

u/ToppenAvSnoppen · 2 pointsr/battlestations

Good to know thanks. Have you been satisfied with the quality of the VIVO mount? I'm currently looking at this one for a dual monitor setup on an IKEA Malm desk. Hence the freestanding version. I don't dare use a clamp on IKEA furniture.

u/insufficient_funds · 2 pointsr/compsci

I use this one..

http://www.amazon.com/Monitor-Standing-Mount-Adjustable-Screens/dp/B00C5H5DN0/ref=sr_1_3?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1418330323&sr=1-3&keywords=dual+monitor+stand

Works great on my desk with my 23" monitors. Put one at home and only have 19" wide screens there and it doesnt work as nicely.

The thing can go very tall too. For reference, at my current desk, the bottom of my monitors are 7" off the desk, and theres another 6" to go up as well

u/jumpingyeah · 2 pointsr/battlestations

What stand is that? Looks like it might be this? I have a dual monitor setup with a TV above, and wondering if I should do a stand. I'm not sure I have enough top clearance though, roughly what is the height of your landscaped monitor? Thanks!

u/WumboPoe · 2 pointsr/buildapc

Sweet, thanks for the suggestion. I'll replace one of the 144hz monitors with that and add in this monitor stand.

u/Stator-Boi · 2 pointsr/battlestations
u/nicking44 · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

I personally use this one

but there is this version to that has the back desk clamp

edit: changed links

posting this again, since last one was removed by automod.

edit 2: these are nice, but the only complaint I have with it is that it's easy to tilt your monitors around, so you have to be somewhat cautious if you're moving them around.

u/AXISMGT · 2 pointsr/Workspaces

You’ll love it! Just make sure you have the appropriate setup on the back of your desk. It needs somewhere to clamp to. If not, they sell counterweighted versions.

For Sale - Dual monitor stand like this one....$10

u/ThEgg · 1 pointr/japanlife

Maybe it's not a stupid question but I don't want to make a thread for it:

Where can I find a free-standing VESA dual-monitor mount (needs to stand on the desk, not clamp)? Amazon.co.jp only has super expensive ones. Amazon.com has this one which I can buy but the shipping is half the cost and up to two weeks of waiting. I could deal with that but I'd imagine I can find similar ones here, too. Similar on Rakuten when searching via モニタースタンド. They have single stands but no duals.

Is my search query wrong? Is there a big box store that will have one around 5000 yennies? I won't hold my breath on the second question.

u/Cowsareinme · 1 pointr/battlestations

I recently upgraded to this monitor, and bought this dual arm mount, I wanted my old monitor to be vertical. Helps shed some of the cringe too haha.

EDIT: Just saw further down that your second monitor doesn't have VESA, so this is not useful!

u/XOXO_HandBanana_XOXO · 1 pointr/razer

I'm using this VESA mount. The stem is bolted to my desk.

u/xXMeebleXx · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I have one of these for my dual monitors at work.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is solid and I have never had any worries about it falling over.

u/Philipf87 · 1 pointr/buildapc
u/droppinloadsyeah · 1 pointr/wallstreetbets

They're just rotated widescreen monitors.

Monitors and TV's use the VESA standard mounting system. This guy probably used something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Standing-Bolt-through-Adjustable-STAND-V002F/dp/B00C5H5DN0/

Higher end monitors and the Dell Ultrasharp series have more adjustability to do this kinda thing out of the box.

Looking into buying a dual monitor stand. On amazon I see this one by VIVO and this other one by DURAMEX does anybody have any experience with either brand?

Also is there any 23-24 inch ips VESA mount monitor for less than 150

Its the stand that pulls it all together. The monitors are pretty "meh" by themselves. Before you ask its this monitor stand. I hated how much space the base legs took up before. But they make a great perch for the sp3 dock.

u/GhostTeam18 · 1 pointr/buildapc

This should work for you! also you have a nice desk!

u/zakabog · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Ah, yeah I would suggest purchasing a new desk top to use any monitor stand if you want it to clamp to the desk. If you just want a free standing dual monitor mount that would be fine, but with the clamp it will likely snap the desktop where it clamps down.

u/Hate815 · 1 pointr/battlestations

What is a posable arm? I was thinking of getting this to sit on the desk. Give me or room for my keyboard too.

It will break if you get a C-clamp dual-monitor mount, but it should be perfectly fine with a desk stand one, like the Amer AMR2S32 or this cheap VIVO STAND-V002F.

u/jbgzx3 · 1 pointr/battlestations

Yeah, here you go.
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Standing-Bolt-through-Adjustable-STAND-V002F/dp/B00C5H5DN0

I actually just got it, and its a lot better built than some of the other stands I looked at, but it's still a reasonable price. A couple thoughts though: The thing says it can hold up to 27" monitors, and it probably can, if you spread it all the way out. It also (according to the VIVO website) claims it can hold up to 22 pounds for each monitor. I think this is actually supposed to be 22 pounds total, as even with my two monitors weighing in at 19 pounds total, if they are too far forward, they will tip it over.

Ahh ok, so the overhang is too thin, if there is any overhang at all. Is buying a new monitor stand, something similar to this one an option?

u/DrunkRufie · 1 pointr/Monitors

As someone who had similar BenQ duals as yourself, here's the dual monitor arm I purchased a while back - Duronic DM352. It does mount/clap to the desk. If you want someone that is an actual stand, then something like this should do - Dual Monitor Stand.

The other alternative is the ones with the gas spring arms. those are normally a bit more expensive.

u/similar_observation · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

I use one of these. It's nice in that VIVO lets you set your adjustments before you mount it on the arms. Some other mounts require you to hold the monitor up and awkwardly reach around until you can screw the mount on. Or lay it flat on a desk and then finagle a giant stand around.

Downside: the height adjustment is limited.

u/bbplsdonthurtme · 1 pointr/buildapc

I currently have the VIVO single monitor mount, and i like it so far :)

P.S. I used the clip single monitor mount

P.S.S. If you don't like VIVO or had bad experience with the company.. I guess I can't help you with that but I do recommend their mounts! They're also have a good rating and all that stuffs.. :)
