I built this using quad LG 29UM68-P monitors (which I found on sale for $250 each) and this monitor stand. It barely fits, but there is enough room where you can move them all very easily.

It helps to have one of those monitor mounts, which lets you rotate, move, and adjust the display position/angle at will. This is theo ne I have, mostly so I can have my monitors as eye-level.

I bought this Monitor Tree a while ago. It came with spacers for curved monitors, but I figured out that they were also the exact inner diameter as the c-stick's outer diameter. So I cut a few up and sanded them so they'd work. A few models later I came up with that one you see in the picture. I started out with 16, and probably used 4-5, but I can't find any of them except one. But I cant use that one or else I don't have a material sample to compare with. It seems to be some sort of nylon. I tried these ones. These are much too hard and sanding didn't do anything (they were also too small, that was my fault)

Do you mean the mounting hardware? In which case I used this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009S7IDJQ?psc=1 . I also used some books to inch the side monitors up.

I have a cheap ikea desk this sits on, the bottom two monitors are pretty heavy but I make it work by having two pieces of flat wood on the top and bottom of the desk where the c clamp presses down and it works pretty well.

Just that for the top monitor. Removed the spars for now. I plan on wall mounting everything once the office room is done being renovated.

nonono not those! if you think you'll have a wall of monitors like 6-8 then i would get this: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V004/dp/B009S7IDJQ?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_11693193011

if you're going for just 3 or maybe 3 and 1 on top of the middle or something like that, get 3 of these: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Adjustable-Articulating-Counterbalance-STAND-V001O/dp/B01NH0HTM5?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_11693193011

i personally have 2 of the 2x2's and 1 of the 2x1's and i mix and match the arms between to configure my monitors accordingly. try to think of what your future setup will be to save on the cheddar 👌

Gotcha. Anyways, I bought a quad monitor mount on Amazon for ~$55. I am only using it with two monitors right now though. You can just remove the other two arms, and use them later if you decide to change your setup. Also, it is built very well and sturdy, especially at that price. Also comes with all the tools you need, great cable management clips, and a clip to hold all the tools behind the monitors. Here is the link.

i have this one and i have a main 27" and two 23" on the left(top left +bottom left), ive been using it for 2-3 years or something. its working great even though the left monitor sags a bit, which i knew would happen before buying since this is a quad mount for less than 60 bucks.

I thought about that when I put this together, but I came to the conclusion that the 17.6lb limit might be a per monitor weight limit. I think the poles and arms are engineered to take multiple monitors.
My reason for thinking this is that I use Vivo's 4 monitor mount at work to mount 4 LG 25 inch ultrawides (which are about 10 lbs each) and the pole and the arms are the same. I've had both mounts set up like this for over a year and neither has fallen apart yet or tipped over yet.
I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I should mention to OP that OP can use the quad mount with 3 monitors, and this approach will be cheaper overall. Brainfart...
