Agreed with the Wahl. Aside from that it just depends on how many attachments you're wanting.

20 piece - $17.99 multi-colored attachments

24 piece - $24.99

26 piece - $24.99 multi-colored attachments

27 piece - $24.89

happy to help! I use a wahl clipper, similar to this. It has everything you need and creates really crisp lines. There's a cheaper version of that too for 15 bucks, but I'd recommend that one if you can get it. Mine has lasted me well over a year with no problems.

In general. The first time you shave anything, it's going to be uncomfortable, and the rash that will inevitably follow will be unsightly.

My 2 cents, get a really close buzz cut instead of a full on shave. I used to do this myself with a $15 clipper without the guard in college.

Not the same thing, but similar.

You could probably get a hair buzzy cutty thing (These things) and try using one of the shorter covers

I just want to emphasize that high school sucks. It's an environment full of people with adult-level brain function, but a complete lack of wisdom and experience that makes everyone pretty incomplete as people. Trust me that, in a couple years, you'll look back on high school and give it no more thought than what is required for you to shake your head and smile.

Until then, it's purely outlook and hard work--focus on you. As far as I can tell, self-improvement always feels good. Buy these or something similar, cut your hair if you don't like it. (it's really easy, trust me. Just go over it twice and make sure you don't leave any stragglers up there. That can suck :P). Every dude looks good, or at least acceptable, in a #3 haircut. Find a cheap gym (Google it! My gym is $10/month) and get yourself on the treadmill, stairmaster, etc. for an hour or so. If not, then you almost certainly have at least a track available to you. /r/Fitness probably has great advice for weight loss-specific workout regimens. Combine that with a good diet--planning, preparation, and willpower are your friends here. Try to get your parents in on it!

I wish you the best of luck! I can tell you that I had similar issues with staying positive in high school. It really comes down to the environment that you're in, and how you choose to approach it. It'll be better for you in the short run and the long run if you can find a way to love yourself and avoid all the background noise and nonsense.
