I'd probably leave 4-6" of room for a soundbar.

I've got these https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Universal-Bracket-Mounting-Capacity/dp/B01GUIEFJC w/ a Samsung soundbar and its using maybe 4" of space?

I think I see a sound bar on that table? If it is one, get a sound bar TV mount that should clear some space.

Edit: I would find another place for the computer, if it's a media PC for the TV replace it with a ROKU, Apple TV, Nvidia Shield TV, or a mini media PC. Then mount which ever one you get behind the TV. That would help with cable management and the over all look of the room.

Not filling the high refresh rate... but I am using this in my kitchen on an arm

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B005BZNDHQ

But the 'speakers' are a joke. I got a super cheap small soundbar and the soundbar mounts that go into the vesa mount

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GUIEFJC

Works well enough for the kitchen, keeps it nice and clean with no wires or stand since Im edge clamping a monitor arm mount to the edge of the bar.

It has speaker out, so you go mini jack to rca to a 'sound bar'. As for higher refresh rate monitors, they might have one, I was going super cheap. and 24" at 1080p looks really good. I didnt want any bigger than 24" and tv's at that size are 720p only for the most part. 1080p comes in at like 32" when I was looking. That monitor, soundbar, monitor arm, and all stuff like power strip stuck to the back and such, cost right around $225

I used these - https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Universal-Bracket-Mounting-Capacity/dp/B01GUIEFJC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1502308147&sr=8-3&keywords=universal+sound+bar+mount

and the SONOS wall mount kit. Might have been overkill, but worked well. Mounted the Wall mount kit to the universal mount. Mounted that to my TV Wall Mount. It's above the TV in my configuration, but I assume it would work well below as well.

for starters, please dont just slap it up on the wall way up there above the mantle. TVs are not supposed to be that high up, unless you only watch standing up....

you need a mount like this, that will drop the tv down so that it sits at right height when watching, and can go back up above the mantle when not watching. https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Fireplace-Pull-Down-Full-Motion-Lifetime/dp/B01GSRRIVM/ref=sr_1_1?

then you just get some mounting brackets (there are tons to choose from, mostly all do the exact same thing) for the center speaker and it will just hang below the tv whether its up above the mantle or down in the correct position. https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Universal-Bracket-Mounting-Capacity/dp/B01GUIEFJC/ref=pd_sim_23_3?

a 55" and small klipsch center should be plenty light enough for that mount too. so no need to drill any holes anywhere other than for the mount on the wall above the mantle.

just please do your neck a favor and get a mount that gets the tv down to the correct height, which means the center of the tv should be approximately eye level when in the seating for the area. the center spot should never be 3-4 ft above eye level unless you are watching a huge projector from far away.
