Wolfenstein is $30, if you're in the US. Memorable characters, good story, optional sneaking sections, plus shooting nazis in the head.
Last of Us, of course. Infamous is good. I really liked Mordor, but some people got tired of the combat. GTA is awesome.

Wolfenstein is the most fun shooter I've played in a long time. Check it out. Also don't skip over DOOM. Definitely skip the multiplayer but the single player campaign is brilliant. (you could also probably get Wolfenstein for really cheap now)
