You heard wrong. The anime library is very limited compared to USA and other english speaking countries. There are more tiny streaming services you'd have to pay for to get "kinda" the same amount.

You're looking for region B, generally gonna find those on the UK version of Amazon

The UK release is slated for somewhere around october, with the distributor explaining that the extended cinema run in Japan will probably delay the Japanese releases too.
