Fixing those shoulder buttons is super easy, you can find videos about how to do it on youtube. If you buy them on amazon, they're super cheap too.

There was a period of time where they warrantied them for free due to the rubber wearing off the sticks. No business in existence can afford to warranty something like that forever. They don't know if your launch controller being worn out in 2016 is truly their fault, or just a controller that's been in use for 3 years. So the replacement period has passed.

You only need one controller to play. You wouldn't need to replace all four. Shop around, in US dollars they are always being sold somewhere at a discount, where the normal price is 59.99 to 64.99, I often see them online at 47.99, 39.99, etc.

Or the even more reasonable solution, buy a bunch of replacement triggers, buy xbox style replacement sticks since they feel better anyway, remove 4 screws from the controller, and fix it all yourself.

I wouldn't call myself the end all authority on this, but I have taken a lot of DS4's and 3's apart. Those springs do look bent to me. Below is a link to some replacement triggers with the springs. I've bought these and had mixed results, but my issue was with the buttons and not the spring

Trust me, dont pay $50 on a new controller if your L2 or R2 triggers are not returning to an off position. There is a small plastic notch that breaks on the individual triggers and you can buy them in bulk for very cheap. The repair is extremely easy if you watch some you tube videos.
