There's a really good book about Atari box art called "Art of Atari" by Tim Lapetino.
There is a killer book called "The Art if Atari". My buddy has it and I look at it every time I go to his place. Here is a link:

> If it's not a throwback, what's their market?
People who generally love the Atari aesthetic -- which is a lot of people over the age of 30. Remember, people still buy Atari t-shirts, name their bands after Atari, buy books about Atari art.
And it's not as though the Atari brand has been dormant for the past century. It's published Alone in the Dark, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Neverwinter Nights, Dragonball Z, Godzilla, amongst other titles.
Honestly, I'd love to see Atari re-enter the PC market. I was a big fan of their 8-bit and ST line of computers. If they made an affordable Steambox, I'd probably buy it.
Welp, hate to be "that guy", but excluding s&h, E.T. Is going for as low as 1 cent on amazon.

No problem, if you're a fan of Atari art, then I can highly recommend The Art of Atari, a really cool coffee table book by Tim Lapetino.
Grab a sandwich, grab a drink and pick up a copy of Art of Atari for something to pass the time as you wait.
You mean 33 years, right?
Is this the book you're looking for?
Then check out Art of Atari. I have it sitting on my coffee table in front of me. Instills a massive wave of nostalgia every time I open it.
The brand new ET game for the Atari! Also, I happen to have a small supply of ET game cartridges. So please stock up while I'm still in stock!
Edit: No this game can not be acquired for free at a mythical Atari landfill in New Mexico.

Pole Position, Pitfall, Mrs. Pac Man, and Asteroids are all classics but Pitfall seems to be the only $$ profit one. Pole Position is a little over a dollar used on amazon. Still, those are classics.
You might enjoy this Atari coffee table book. I've seen it and it's quite rad!
Do yourself a favor and buy this.
You definitely don't want to plug that power adapter into the wall outlet unless you're certain that it's both the right voltage and the right polarity. The best way to ensure this, of course, is to buy another Atari 2600 power supply online, but if you google around, you can probably find out what voltage and polarity you will need. This one on Amazon looks like the one you need from a quick glance, so it might be a good starting point for your search.
As for hooking it up to your TV, here is a great video showing you all you will need to know. If you're ambitious and you trust your skills with a screwdriver, you might want to open up that console and clean it and restore it. It must have decades of accumulated dust and dirt inside it, and it looks like the console end of the RF cable needs to be reseated too.
You should also clean the connectors of all those game cartridges before you use them, and here is one method of doing that.
It's far more than audio-only - it also carries power and can send/receive data. Examples of what 3.5mm jacks can be used for:
And surely tons of other things.
