Try to get them sucking on bottles during takeoff and landing to pop their ears.

Most airlines will not let you sit next to each other because each row only has 1 extra oxygen mask. You'll probably want to split the contents of the diaper bag between your 2 carry ons.

Our twins were great, but make sure you have some benadryl just in case you have a hard time calming them down. That is if benadryl puts yours to sleep. It works on one of mine but makes the other wired.

I gate checked my stroller in one of these. That way I had it the maximum amount of time.

We also brought some yogurt bites and crushed them up so we could stick them to the pacifier. That helped to distract them when they started to get really upset.

We brought their blankets from their beds so they could snuggle up to something familiar to them. That also seemed to help.

That's all I can remember right now. Good luck and try not to worry too much. Anyone who is a parent will feel bad for you if the kids lose it and anyone who is annoyed can deal with it.

My nephew, who is 2.5 years old, has texture issues and, as you said, won't eat green beans or any veggie or fruit. His parents give him baby/toddler food packs like these as sides to his chicken or fish (which he will eat). It isn't perfect, as the first ingredient is usually fruit, not vegetables, but it's better than nothing.

Curious to know how some of you guys that don't use gels, beans, GU, fuel for your marathons.

I began my marathon training today and I was thinking of going a more natural way. Someone even suggested using this baby food as it is very digestible and has
many of the nutrients needed in going 26.2. Or maybe gels and the like are what I need.

What have you found that allows you to keep on keeping on after Mile 18?

Looks like a fortified apple sauce or baby food similar to this. Companies will often put new products and flavours in generic packaging while they're still trialing it.

Thanks!

Yeah, I am looking at a Camelbak Marathoner. Searching around locally before I go online. It seems to have everything that I would need.

As for gels and the like, someone recommended trying these Peter Rabbit Organics Mango, Banana and Orange Snacks, 4-Ounce instead of gels.
