LOL. I bought a forest green cotton duvet cover on amazon , and a matching green fleece blanket I just happened to find at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. White sheets I got from Marshall’s. Here’s the duvet: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GRJ181B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-DJVDbHKWEDKP

I agree duvet and hypoallergenic comforter. I love these duvets and they come with matching pillow cases. High end look and feel for great price.

For sheets I really like these . I have two sets of sheets and duvet that I rotate for same day turnovers. Have gotten many compliments on comfy bed.

I do sheets, light blanket, duvet-covered comforter, two soft pillows, two memory foam fill pillows, and a cute throw pillow, with towels rolled and placed at the end of the bed for hotel effect. All white so when I’m washing everything together if there’s a stain I can throw in a little fabric-safe bleach.

ikea has an $9 one I tried it out and it's pretty good, I figured a lightweight one is fine since I wanted a cooler comforter overall. I put it inside a nice percale duvet cover and it works well.

Wait! I have one very similar to the light blue one. Here is the link. I think the best color match is the mint, but same comfy look and feel as the one above!

If you google “grey mandala bed set” you get a lot of similar ones. I couldn’t find the exact one however. This one from Amazon is pretty close

from the wall art that you have added, I think that you have an eye for plants and we can use it as a concept. Your bed is already awesome, we just need to change the beddings, like you can have something like this something like the country style like this one here same with your curtains, you can have either a single color or something floral. For the wall art, you can have a 3 panel like this one. You can also add a few plants you might to change your lighting design.

In all things storage, think "vertical" or "hidden"/"built-in" to save space.

  • Get a bed and bedframe, and put rolling storage containers underneath for your clothes. It saves space AND likely doesn't cost as much as a dresser. Example.
  • Use a hanging shoe organizer on the back of your door to store stuff. One idea: Use it to store your food more efficiently. Example.
  • You need more lighting. It's much cheaper (and looks cooler) to hang up lights on the ceiling. Think of draping them in a zig-zag from one end of the room to the other. Cafe lights look awesome.
  • You'll probably still need at least one extra lamp, though. Tripod lamps look great.
  • Your bed will be the feature of your room for years; make it look good! Get a light grey or cream-colored duvet, two big white pillows (to sleep on), some decorative grey pillows, and one faux leather lumbar pillow in cognac, to put it in front of the grey pillows and tie it all together.
    • Go one step fancier and get a blanket to drape over the bed. Navy blue or emerald green would look good. (Bonus: You have a blanket to curl up with.)
  • Get nesting tables. These can double as your coffee table, eating space, and extra table space when you have friends over, but will "nest" when the extra table space isn't needed, saving space.
  • This rug (2115, in navy blue) would look great in the space, it's affordable, and the darker color will be more forgiving of heavy traffic.
  • If you can only get one plant, either get pothos or monstera. Both make big statements.

Obviously you need a desk and a chair, and probably some bookshelves, but these are the big things I thought of. Good luck!
