My husband uses something like this bike seat .

My daughter is about to be two and used it all of last summer, and has a few times this spring. She will ask for “bike rides” and loves going on them.

We got ours has a hand me down and sometimes I will see them on buy sell trade sites as well.

Happy biking!

What about this kind of stroller. Looks like the weight goes up to 75lbs (or maybe 100lbs) and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen someone recommend this before on here.

You need a trailer then. Look for one like this Aosom Enclosed Bicycle Cargo Trailer - Black https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01HQGZH7Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_08-NDb8RQ9KDN as you can hook it to the rear rack.

There is a dedicated dog trailer for sale on Amazon

If you can’t find anything, I’d scour ebay and your local bike shops for a flatbed bike trailer. Then you could just take off the front wheel, strap her frame and front wheel to the trailer, and drag it to her. It isn’t going to be the most aero, and also probably won’t be much cheaper than the coupler, but at least it would be functional/resell-able after this particular issue is over.

I pull a trailer with a thru-axle bike. I use this one:

They are expensive, but (at least around here) they are easy enough to find second hand. There are also adapters like these that can help you position the mount where you want it and clear that lever if you have any issues:

I bought a cheaper folding trailer 4 years ago on Amazon for $120ish. It's just big enough for a 1/2 barrel keg. Beautiful Time Cargo Bicycle Trailer, Large https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M8JEGSS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Tb.DDbBJ5Y4YB

CyclingDeal Bicycle Kids child Rear Baby Seat bike Carrier USA Standard With Adjustable Seat Rest Height https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BPR1CZY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_wldD7Iwkn61dc

I got this because a lot of components are adjustable, plus you can take it off if you want to ride alone. It also holds up to 40 lbs or so.

I got it from amazon, it's the rack that comes included with the Schwinn Child Carrier

So I'm trying to figure out how to bicycle with my baby. She is 10 months old and I tried sticking her in this trailer that we've got. She hated it. Cried most of the ride.

I know we're a couple months early for the age rating on the trailer, but she's otherwise a strong and capable baby. It seemed to me that the combo of her helmet and the angle of the seat in the trailer meant her head was pushed down at an odd angle - but I couldn't figure out how to fix that. The trailer gets great ratings on Amazon though, so I'm not sure what I'm missing?

Age? Neck support? Just practice and getting her used to it?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but cycling isn't as common in our area so I don't have many other people to consult with.

With 2 kids-10 month & 4 yr old I must say that the best investment was this - http://imgur.com/UCaKtWB

170$ for a bike trailer/stroller -2 seater

cycle force trail monster cargo trailer.

In my looking through items, this has the highest weigth capacity with an advertised load of 275lbs. I do have one of these and be aware that it is made out of chineesium metal so the build quality is not the best.

Most bike trailers really arn't built for heavy loads and I have yet to see one that four wheeled.

I do not believe the Haibike Hardline has facilities for mounting a rear rack. It's tough to tell from the pictures on their websites, so I don't know for sure.

To do a proper rack requires braze-ons.. hard points.. that the rack can bolt to on the bicycle. I don't see those in the pictures on their website.

They do make child seats that don't require a pre-existing rack... like this one:

https://www.amazon.com/CyclingDeal-Kids-Standard-Bicycle-Carrier/dp/B00MGSCMLO

If you watch the video you can see that it bolts to the seat tube. That _should_ work, but that seat tube on the Haibike is kinda funky. It's worth buying to see if it fits and returns it if it doesn't, but I think that the best bet is to pick out a bike that has the necessary bolt holes for a rack or buy a bike with a rack from the factory.

you can probably use a trailer, and that would be fun for easy off roading. I use the Yepp Maxi on my Brompton and my MTB Ebike conversion but I can't see how it would fit on that Haibike. It's a seat tube mount. https://www.amazon.com/Thule-Yepp-Maxi-Child-Bike/dp/B07CNG37MB
