These are the brand I found in my order history, we have the ones with the gray bottoms though, they are not 100% cotton though, just like 75% or something.

I noticed the same problem when I wore dress socks to anniversaries and stuff like that. I believe that you're wearing over the calf socks that hit right below the knee. These are always tight and make your pants cling annoyingly to your legs when you sit down.

It never falls down and leaves a barely discernible skin mark. Even when I sit down, no skin shows if that's what you're worried about, and it's much more comfortable too.
