I gotta be honest....I don't know what SAP is. Every time I see SAP, all I can think about is Alice In Chains' album Sap.

Soundtrack, or score? Soundtrack refers to a collection of songs inspired by the movie, or related to the movie, but were not necessarily heard during the movie. The score refers to music specifically written for scenes in the film, and heard in the film.

Not particularly difficult to find, but definitely worth picking up.

It's a bit different for DFD though, more of a 'rock opera' type thing, as it were.

>Not for lack of trying, I could never find their CD’s ANYWHERE

Yeah, it's a real shame Amazon hasn't had every Tool album ever available upon release for the past 20 odd years or so. 🤷‍♂️

It was released on a special MVI version of self-titled, only got a UK link https://www.amazon.co.uk/Avenged-Sevenfold-MVI/dp/B000VEA30W

it's not the same as live and in person, but there are a few ways you can get the feeling of what a nin concert was like. trent reznor was very open to nin shows being recorded, and thus we have a lot of great memories that can be viewed/listened/relived for us who were there, and also viewed for the first time by new nin fans.

there are a couple dvd releases of concerts that you can purchase - and all that could have been & beside you in time, PLUS an amazing fan-created dvd called another version of the truth: the gift. seriously, the effort and teamwork that went into that project was amazing. the people behind that project also helped put together a video (near the bottom of that page) of nin's live performance of the entire TDS album, sourced from many different people that were at that show, vtaping the whole thing. also amazing.

plus there's tons of fan-sourced videos of nin concerts floating around on youtube. i would recommend watching some of the 2006 summer amphitheatre shows, which had amazing (i keep saying that word, but i can't think of anything stronger) light and screen special effects. specifically, look up "closer", "only", and "non-entity". the beside you in time shows had amazing hi-tech effects as well.

Amazon is your friend, if you can't find it anywhere else. I tend to avoid places like FYE because the prices are high, but Best Buy may have it.

I'd love this!

Water. I'm boring and drink water 99% of the time.

I always recommend Over The Years and Through The Woods. It's a live album and honestly the live performances is a big part of what makes Queens special. It also acts as a great hits with some deep cuts. With this you'll miss out on the last 3 albums, but it's a great head start and will give you an idea of their range as a band.

I recommend Broken [EP]. Only 8 songs, but they're some of my favorites (and the packaging is kickass).

u/Oneireus · 2 pointsr/MadScientistPartyHour

Try Acid Bath "When the Kite String Pops" next. Bit older, but they have a great reputation.

u/idioma · 2 pointsr/AskReddit

NIN - Broken

It is a truly charged album full of energy that does not ever disappoint me. Any time I play Pinion I know that I'm going to finish the album. In an interview Trent Reznor was asked about his lyrics from 'Wish' and said that his epitaph should read: "REZNOR: Died. Said 'fist fuck', won a Grammy."

There is also a music video that goes with the whole album from start to finish. It is truly brutal nightmare fuel. NOT SAFE FOR WORK/LIFE

u/wp_rathead · 2 pointsr/avengedsevenfold

Wasn't it on the MVI which came with the album? I know there are a few on the amazon.co.uk website: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Avenged-Sevenfold-MVI/dp/B000VEA30W

This is hilarious, one of my favourite things ever. :D

I'd love this if I win!

The Strange Case of... by Halestorm. I've only had it for a few days, but it's completely amazing. Awesome vocals, great music, super catchy. It's all good, so I don't really have a favorite!

The Matrix Soundtrack if you're looking for hard-driving music.

Also, Anthrax is good. I generally use the fast songs from The Sound of White Noise.

Speaking of bad arguments. Blockbuster is closed. FYE is not. Nor is Amazon, for that matter. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00000099Y/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_tfjXtb11WDVXY

I have like 30 copies of the slip. I would say yes.

EDIT: Just FYI I bought I think 5 copies when it first came out (because it was limited and 250,000 seemed like such a small number at the time, but you can still easily find new copies still unsold, lol). then a few more when the price dropped. Then I bought like 20 used copies for 1 dollar to try and get a higher number. I already have the highest ever found (other than trent) (my user name is inaka_rob, japanese for country side, where I live). The last few thousand seemed to have been shipped to Japan. That is where I got my highest numbered one.

You can check out the records and add to it please

I have them all.

They are all fantastic. Can’t really pick one over another.

This is the album that got me into them. I remember hearing floater and just being blown to the moon.

I have the black and grey variant of this and now the two represses.

On another note New Junk is still available.
