pasting this from elsewhere, but

Fairly cheap options:

  • KH Manga (the ones with release dates before 2013 are a different publisher and not as nice quality, if that matters to you), or the art book
  • Play Arts Kairi is still pretty cheap. (Some of the others might still be available for decent prices, I'm not sure)
  • Some of the avatar mascot straps are okay priced.
  • Formation Arts: Kairi, Twilight Thorn, there are some more on the search that are under $30
  • There's some probably less-than-legit stuff on Amazon, too, if you're okay with that: necklaces, keyblade necklace sets, plushes, decals
  • You could also check out Etsy if you want to send something custom; "paopu" or "wayfinder" are also good search options if you go that route.
  • At the Square Enix event the other day, the price list included some official Keyblade keychains for $20 (Kingdom Key, Kingdom Key D, Rainfell, Wayward Wind, Earthshaker) but for the life of me I don't know where you could find those online.

Seconding that keyblade necklaces are a cute gift for pretty cheap, though (there are a bunch of different sets of them available and I'm sure they're all bootlegs, but hey, so are the ones I've had for seven years and they're still cute).

In Japan, the book is just called Dragonball/ドラゴンボール. In the anime, (don't know if you're from the U.S. or not) Dragonball is split into two. Dragonball and Dragonball Z. It's to make it more convenient, in my opinion, makes it more confusing lol.

Dragonball (when the main character is young) and Dragonball Z (when the main character is an adult and has a kid), the more popular title. Dragonball is Volumes 1-16, Dragonball Z is 1-26.

Dragonball is known for its tournaments and raunchy humor, and Dragonball Z is known for beating the shit out of aliens and cyborgs without spoiling too much.

The manga (basically a Japanese comic book) goes by faster, the anime if you'd like to see extra stuff (filler--extra detail--etc.) and want to see it animated. I recommend Dragon Ball (Z) Kai because it cuts out (most) unnecessary fluff. In other words, goes by wayyyy quicker. There are many options for both the manga and anime.

For example there's the:

You can find stuff on amazon like this . While you will get the satisfaction of seeing the characters in different perspectives (not point of view, but position-wise), it's almost a remake of the anime into manga. I would probably buy them to collect them, but I don't think there are any significant differences/additions compared to the TV shows

Does Tokyo Mew Mew count? My favorite memory of Disney World is when I talked to crush from Finding Nemo, that was just really cool, I love those things. I'd love to go back. Disney IS Heaven!

OMG YES. Did you see that volume 8 of the manga - featuring USApyon - is getting localized, come January? That's gotta count for something amarite!

Thank you for making the list bro, it's hella dope. The Chobits set is a slipcase with volume 8 only and a PVC figurine (the figure is the same as art on the cover of vol 7). You had to individually buy volume 1-7 so then you could put your books into the slipcase. Here's a picture of someone who sold one a mint condition one. It's exactly how my own looked when I bought it at Borders Books and Music many years ago.

IDK how you'd define CCS' box. The CCS manga is 12 volumes total. The first 6 were Tokyopop's left to right American style print. Which covered the 1st arc in the story with her bird wand. Volume 6-12 were primarily with her star wand. For this second half Tokyopop had begun printing manga normally (right to left). But they reset the number count making this batch numbered 1-6 as like a CCS 2nd Edition.

The bonus content for these is that they included a made up "clow card" bookmark (colored, glossy, between the cover and the first page with perforations for you to easily rip out as if it were a coupon book) in each of the volumes in the set. So you get 6 bookmarks total. These were not present in the individual loose volumes sold.

PS; do you have/have you made a similar list for omnibus releases? I was thinking about these two how they had individual volumes, and a 'box set', and also an omnibus release with multi volumes in one with some additional content. Like Dark Horse's Chobits omnibus had like 16 color pages of artwork in each.

Well, you're making up your own rules on this one, so could you say that watching Howl's Moving Castle works for BotM? There's also a comic version using screenshots from the movie.

There's also a graphic novel adaptation from AMA author Joe Abercrombie. (And Gail Carriger's Soulless would also count in this category.)
