You don't take the tabs off the battery, you buy 2025 batteries with tabs and replace the whole unit. Trivial and it takes 5 minutes once you have a little practice.

  1. Don't know. The locks are loud, and the marker lights flash when they lock or unlock.

  2. You should have 3 keys from the factory. Change the batteries in all 3 keys: https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-Cr2016-Lithium-Battery-Ecr2016/dp/B00K5Y83HS/ or https://www.amazon.com/Batteries-Panasonic-Cr2016-Lithium-Battery/dp/B0045ERXE8/

  3. Use Chevron regular most of the time, and Shell V-power occasionally, to keep the engine running efficiently. Since it's out of warranty, you can use Pennzoil Platinum 0W-16 motor oil, which improves mpg about 2% vs. the suggested 0W-20.

  4. Drive an even-slower car once-in-a-while. 99% of other traffic will be slower than you if you floor it at appropriate times.

  5. Trade it for a highway-cruiser like the 2016+ Prius Eco. Prius c means Prius city. Barring that, drive slow on the highway. 55 mph returns stellar fuel economy.

  6. 46 mpg × 9.5 gallons = 437 miles.

  7. I removed the rear headrests and rear cargo cover and always keep the rear seats down. Get an all-weather floor-mat kit to keep them clean.

  8. You have dual-mode Daytime Running Lights. The 2nd mode turns on all marker lights and tail lights, but keeps the headlights dim. I drive in that mode all the time (day and night) with the left stalk in the highbeams position. This actually keeps the highbeams off until I turn the selector to normal headlights. That way I get full-brightness and highbeams coming on at the sane time (when I need them on a highway with no traffic in front of me).

If you can find one, a 4SR44 is the correct battery, but a 4LR44 battery may be easier to find, and also works.

Edit: here's one on amazon.

There is no doubt that it's the battery. This is a good deal that I got, but any C2032 is fine.

10 batteries lasted me about 8 months.

u/pineapplebob · 2 pointsr/vintagecomputing

There is also an adapter you can get that will solder to the board that will hold a cr2032 battery like this https://www.adafruit.com/product/1870?gclid=CjwKCAjwpeXeBRA6EiwAyoJPKkF6HOhA_c1yhft0KGsm1UnkuvSMqjlgU0c9OiA9JyE3cLKcuxRvuhoCjr8QAvD_BwE or one with a wire connector like this https://www.amazon.com/CR2032-Battery-Wire-Leads-CMOS/dp/B074PB82DT

This battery will work. It can be found for around $5 on eBay and is what I currently have in my FTB.

There are many Mercury free coin/button cell batteries: https://www.amazon.com/Energizer-Zero-Mercury-Batteries-Pack/dp/B00N46ZWVY

ML1220 is likely a rechargeable lithium battery. From what I can tell, this type of battery chemistry never contained mercury: https://www.epa.gov/mercury/mercury-batteries

Even if a battery did, it would have to be broken open to expose/leak any mercury out. For this to happen, your laptop would have to be just about shredded. You could likely run it over with a car and be fine.

> Don't have a loupe so hoping for help from the community

$4 and free shipping. Seems pretty silly to risk a $75 card being fake for lack of a $4 loupe.

I picked up a Yashica Electro 35 GX recently, it appears to be in fantastic cosmetic condition.

The only thing that seems a little off is the long exposure time. If I put on the lens cap and and take it down to 25 ISO and f/16, the maximum shutter speed I seem to get is about 8 seconds.

As far as I know, it's supposed to run out to 30 seconds.

I haven't put a roll through it yet to test the quicker exposure times, but it seems to be pretty close to my D90 if I shoot it in aperture priority and set the ISOs the same.

I'm using these batteries.

Any ideas?

u/lodunali · 2 pointsr/Wellworn

I'm guessing that these are the same batteries the streamlight uses? $6 for 20 is a lot better than buying the Streamlight specific ones if they are the same.

u/smashingbumpkin · 2 pointsr/gloving

Hillflower on Amazon is pretty dang reliable. Batteries last the same as Emazing's.

I have been buying in bulk from that store for almost two years now. It used to be on Ebay but is on Amazon now. I def recommend checking out the Amazon store.

Only downside was that since they've switched to Amazon, shipping took about 3-4 weeks.

I built my own setup. https://scontent-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/t1.0-9/10469048_802616879762394_7511436800829330098_n.jpg

I have since set it up so that I can use anything 4-40v and charges at 3 amps max.

This setup has allowed me to go all day. I'm sure there are areas where this could be improved and i'm open to anything someone smarter knows. I have walked and biked around all day with no issues. Normally I will see a 3% drop every 1hr of play. This also actively charges the battery pack. I'm still trying to up my amperage so if someone can tell me how to do that let me know

I bought this a while back for car fobs and garage door remotes, it has lasted me quite some time:

But I'd buy these instead for the free shipping:

Here are the links for the supplies that I used. Batteries, Switches, and LED's.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P5MYG1X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And here is a pic of the diagram layout that I used. LEDs have a positive and negative side, so when you connect two together in a circuit , make sure you connect the negative to the positive side. I dont remember if the switch is on the positive or negative side, but I dont think it matters for this setup.

Had the cut the car up quite a bit to get it all to fit. I used a soldering iron too. Makes sticking the wires to the switch and battery much easier.

I have been changing the batteries out in our G5 transmitters using Renata Watch Battery 389 and battery life has been 6-8 weeks before dying what battery do you recommend ?

Also when I have changed the batteries in the transmitter for a 2nd time I can't get it to connect again, have you managed to change the batteries more than once and have it successfully connect to the app ?

Thanks

To Answer your original question:

The Pokemon Go Plus uses passive Bluetooth, so turning off your phones Bluetooth won't help it to save battery life.

It truly does depend on how active you are. When I'm up at the park it's constantly buzzing and lighting up with Pokemon and Pokestops. While I'm at work it goes off only every once in a while.

The other thing I've noticed is that the battery going into it also makes a difference. I bought a 3 pack of batteries from the Dollar store and they all died pretty quickly in comparison to the original battery the Plus came with. I bought a duracell a while ago and it's still going strong.

I'm planning on buying this: https://www.amazon.ca/CR2032-Battery-Lithium-Batteries-Expire/dp/B011XPFMEO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484317607&sr=8-1&keywords=2032+battery+50pk and splitting it with a friend who also has one. That way we never have to worry and it brings down the cost per battery significantly.

CR2032 Button Batteries and 3 LED Lights per battery taped on to the top/bottom of the discs with Packing Tape.

edit: See through discs work the best (Champion, Proton)

I have similar musical pins and here are the ones that worked with mine.

Yeah it's the same pen across the current product line. You might try just removing the battery and putting it back in before anything else. If you need the bluetooth battery in the cap, these will work.
