If my good friend /u/misterlakatos ever wanted to add some premium dolphins gear to his closet these are pretty sweet.

Definitely worth it for the stiffness and firmness. My favorite brand with heels is the Adidas Adipower. For no-heels I like the Sabo Goodlift
I'm glad you and others posted this. I was eyeing these too and nearly settled on them until I got a closer look and found a lot of reports like yours. And, at least for me, they're not good travel shoes. Too heavy and those eyelets that let water out? Well, yeah, they also let water in. Even early morning dew. So good luck traveling with these.
My go-to travel shoe was the New Balance Minimus 20v6. They were light, good tread, I painted my all black so they looked decent enough for dates and going out. I've hiked multiple volcanoes in them. A pair would last me about a year of walking everyday and doing some treks, but they're discontinued now and I'm shopping around.
I'm looking for that holy grail shoe: the one that can do multi-day treks and look good going out. All black is preferred. I have a bunch of tabs open right now and may order all of these and stick with my favorite. Here's what I've found that has my interest:
An upgraded version from my current pair, but much uglier. Some black paint might be able to hide some of the worst crimes though. If they're the same as the previous version, the tread is good, the fit is nice, and they fast and last a year+ of heavy use
So that's what I've narrowed it down to. I'm going back to the states for a little bit soon and may order all of these. If anyone has anything else to add, PLEASE COMMENT AND SHARE! I'm all ears. Idk why it's so hard to find a fully black shoe that can handle trails with good tread and going out without looking like you just got back from the woods, but that's the reality.
C'mon shoe companies. Make a onebag shoe for us!
If you're interested in the new adipower 2's, Amazon has them for ~$100 instead of the $160 - $200 from Rogue and Adidas.com. I bought a pair to try out and it was $110 after tax. I've also seen Leistung II's for sub $100 lately too.
This the link I bought mine from on Amazon -

I have flat feet and have been using the Adidas Powerlift 3.1 since January and I like them. Their heel isn’t as high as other lifting shoes but it hasn’t affected my depth.
This is maybe a good bet to try out heels since they’re pretty cheap.
If by chance you happen to be a 9.5, the Leistung is on sale on Amazon for $94. There is also an Amex coupon for $30 off making it $64. Only 9.5 is that cheap.

Plenty of options on Amazon. I think that's where I got mine.

V4's are great. But so are the new Zante trainers. Zante V3's are the subpar shoes.

Are these any good for both squats and Olympic lifts?
I'm buying a cheaper pair of shoes to wear to the bars/beach/etc and wanted some advice. Mainly gonna be wearing it with shorts and stuff. I'm trying to decide between the Cloudfoam Ultimates in white for $63, the Alphabounce Beyonds in Gray/White/Aero Blue for $70 or the Pureboost Trainers in gray for $84.

it says here that the seller is "adidas" and when i click the seller, it redirects me to adidas official.
is this a glitch? can i complain to amazon?
Thats why you keep a pair of green tags with you so you can change them if you ever need to.
About 20 or so carriers in my office wear these or the version before them and they are great on your feet

https://positionusa.com/collections/shoes These guys are all an inch in heel height I believe, looks like most are sold out.
https://www.amazon.com/VS-Athletics-Weightlifting-Shoe-II/dp/B06VT8KT3S These guys have a 1.25 inch heel height, apparently size 10 is a 3.5 cm heel. ~ Apparently even walmart.com has them lmao. Izzy from powerlifting to win had the white versions of these to get a maximal bench arch.
Honestly, I would rather buy brand new Adidas Power Perfect 3s for that price instead of used Adipowers.
I don't know what size you are, but there are some relatively cheap ones at different prices in different colors:
Amazon
Rogue
I got these Nordic Lifting Shoes for a reasonable price and they feel great!
Nike Benassi SLP
those are the black and gold ones, look sweeeet

Have any of you improved your squat by switching to powerlifting/weightlifting shoes?
I've been squatting in Asics wrestling shoes for a while. At first, they felt good but as I go heavier they feel unstable around my ankles.
I'm thinking about getting a pair of Adidas Powerlifts, do you think they're good for ankle stability?
Edit: I'm also considering these as well; https://www.amazon.com/adidas-Performance-Power-Perfect-Trainer/dp/B0714CPKTN/
I would like some feedback
I think this is bordering on a silly question but I'm just trying to settle this internal debate before I invest the money. Is there any actual difference between this shoe and this one other than the price?
I think it's the term 'cross trainer' that has be debating. The adipower isn't really supposed to be a cross trainer. So to me it's implying potentially lower quality so it can be used for other areas than just laser focused on weightlifting.
