I have a Planet Wise diaper pail liner and I love it. I throw it in the wash every time. We are 13 months in.

We've been cloth diapering for over a year now, and here is what I've learned:

• it takes about 10 minutes average a day to launder diapers, washing every two days
  
• hooking up a diaper sprayer to the toilet is the way to go, rather than using disposable liners. The diaper pail will never smell, except of ammonia at times.
  
• the more expensive cloth diapers with removable inserts are worth it, and still cost much less than disposables
  
• managing buildups and smells from soap/minerals is not easy
  
• there is no such thing as one size diaper wrap that fits all ages. You'll need one size for infants, and another for toddlers.

I use a 10 gallon trash can with a lid and a wet bag trash liner - original for diapers, now I use them in the bathroom for towels and wash cloths, SO much better than dirty wash cloths piling up!!

Safety 1st Diaper Pail with large Planet Wise liner bags. The hole on the pail is large enough for cloth diapers, the pail itself fits a LOT of diapers, and it’s cheap as hell!

The main problem I found with other bins is that they were designed for compact disposables and only fit like 6 cloth diapers. Been using this set up for almost 5 years over several kids and I recommend it for sure!

My hanging wet bag has a zipper and yes, I keep it unzipped. But in my trash can i use a wet bag that is also referred to as a pail liner. It's the same exact material but at the top it is elastic and stretches around the opening of the can much like a trash bag. I have two of these that I use in the nursery. One in the pail, and one either in the wash or hanging to dry.

I have this one in the diaper bag, and it does a pretty good job. It probably only holds about 3 cloth diapers comfortably; after that you're really stuffing them in there.

Washable! It's made from the same material as diapers but it's like a trash bag in size/shape. This is the brand/style we use.

I have a simple system that works for me and 4 friends so far. You just wash baby’s laundry as usual. All clothes go into the washer and dryer - no lint, pilling, shrinking, special sprayer, etc.

Process:

  Notes:
  
• You’ll wash baby’s laundry anyway, but now you’ll wash some diapers with it, too.
  
• Depending on how often you want to do laundry, buy proportionately more stuff. Example: 1 day= 3-4 wraps and 6-12 pre-folds depending on the baby’s habits.
  
• I still use size 1 pre-folds for my 22 pound baby but upgraded to size 2 wraps.
  
• I hang the bag at the changing table so I don’t even use the special diaper trash anymore. Opening the can released a bunch of gross smells but hanging the bag lets the smells air out naturally

So it's super easy- you just grab the entire bag and dump it in the washer, bag included. We have two of them so we can switch off when one is in the washer/dryer.
