Definitely sounds like a flugel to me. Vizzutti has a pretty bright sound in general, so his flugel sound is also kinda bright, for a flugel.

According to the album credits here, he does play flugel on this record. And you can listen to previews of every song on the album here. The difference between his trumpet sound and his flugel sound is obvious:

Track 1 Skylights - trumpet

Track 2 Rainbow - flugel

Track 3 Walk On The Air - trumpet

Track 4 Dragonfly - flugel

Track 5 From The Other Side - trumpet

Track 6 Jami - flugel

Track 7 Small Fry - piccolo trumpet

|name|Screaming Headless Torsos|
|about artist|Screaming Headless Torsos is the brainchild of guitarist David "Fuze" Fiuczynski, and began in 1984 as a punk-funk-reggae-opera band. In 1990 they added vocalist Dean Bowman and began their take on avant-funk rock. The Torsos became a cult phenomenon with their first CD "1995" (released originally on Warner-Discovery Records) followed by their 1996 "Live!!" CD. The musicians of the Torsos have collectively played with many of the biggest names in the pop and jazz worlds. ([more on last.fm](http://www.last.fm/music/Screaming Headless Torsos))|

If you're into Chris' playing in Underground you'll probably also like the Dave Holland Quintet recordings from recent years. Potter and Nate Smith are both in each of them. Also check out Aaron Parks' 'Invisible Cinema', Vijay Iyer's 'Historicity' and The Story. There are a lot more artists you might like, obviously, but just give those a listen to start and look and see who else those guys play with and that should lead you on the right track.
