Cardboard boxes with shredded paper, pieces of cardboard, paper towel rolls, and some hay stuffed inside with a tunnel attached is by far my buns' favorite toys. They love going in and ripping everything apart and finding hay/treats to eat. Bunnies love cardboard boxes in general. They'll rip them apart and move them around, chew on 'em, make hidey holes, climb on them. I'll even cut out some holes on the side of the boxes and stuff cardboard tubes frayed at the ends/stuffed with hay for them to have fun with.

Tunnels rank at number 2 favorite toy. Their favorite is the crinkley cat tunnels which have holes throughout them they can dart out. They like the crinkle noise too.

They love manipulating objects, hard plastic slinkies (not metal ones!) are fun for them ... and to watch, haha. Hard plastic baby rattles, baby keys, etc. Just no gel/soft plastic as it would be easy for them to bite and ingest.
http://wabbitwiki.com/wiki/Toys_and_Games This has an awesome list of toys and also places to buy bun toys. I've bought cottontail cottages, activity tables, rosewood activity trees, etc--buns love them all! But they are expensive for sure. The activity tables last forever but it would definitely be cheaper to build one !

Oh, also--I would recommend games like the Teach N Treat for mental stimulation as well: http://www.amazon.com/Hagen-Living-World-Teach-Treat/dp/B004HYW9B8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1393474030&sr=8-1&keywords=teach+n+treat

There are tons of dog and cat games like that too that buns will love: http://www.amazon.ca/Trixie-4594-Products-Solitaire-White/dp/B0057G1WT0/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3EH8O533V5DMS&coliid=I346NPTH7GATHZ

Also they love moving around these treat balls when you stuff em with pellets: http://www.amazon.com/Smarter-Toys-Treat-Inches-Colors/dp/B003ARUKTG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1393474058&sr=8-2&keywords=treat+ball

They love games that have anything to do with eating/end result being eating. :P

http://www.amazon.ca/Kitty-Mansions-Memphis-Tree-Beige/dp/B0043Z0EUE/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3EH8O533V5DMS&coliid=IHU58PNBHRME6 CAT TREES! Build your own if you want! Make sure if you buy one to cover any non-safe bun material.

I also got them one of these: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0038B2EKM/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00005C5H4/ref=oh_details_o02_s05_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Stack cups! Put treats between them and watch them knock them over and nom the treats. :)

http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00000IZQP/ref=oh_details_o04_s01_i05?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They also like knocking these off.

http://www.amazon.ca/Super-Pet-Tropical-Fiddle-Stick/dp/B000HHO26E/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3EH8O533V5DMS&coliid=I1Y9U0EEWOMV8N These things!

http://www.amazon.ca/Ware-711-Roller-Assorted-Colors/dp/B001CQFDJY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3EH8O533V5DMS&coliid=I3D5TZDNHU5HM8 This makes eating hay a bit more fun for them. :)

My boys love rolling around and destroying these: http://www.amazon.ca/Peters-Woven-Grass-Play-Ball/dp/B0009YJ3OG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3EH8O533V5DMS&coliid=I2VYO2771IW0LJ

Bunnies really enjoy long-term projects, which is why they like the dig boxes I described in the first paragraph so much. They dig and rearrange the boxes foreeever until I make a new one for them.

here is my corn's enclosure. details:

  • 421D boaphile plastics cage. pvc with a plexiglass hinged door, 48"x24"x11". i could have bought a cage with a smaller footprint, but i have larger BPs and wanted to keep the stack of cages uniform, plus i would rather go beyond the minimum requirements.
  • heat tape for the warm side, radiant heat panel from reptile basics for ambient temperatures, both regulated by herpstats.
  • small/medium grade coconut husk mulch for substrate.
  • exo terra water dish, extra large.
  • warm and cool hides [back corners] are exo terra reptile caves, large.
  • humid hide [front left] is an exo terra reptile cave, extra large, with a dinner plate underneath it.
  • a large exo terra rock outcrops serves as an extra hide and something to climb on.
  • the "jungle gym" in the center is made of a few pieces of grapewood screwed together, for more climbing opportunities.
  • the leafy vine around the top is from a craft store, just for a little aesthetic greenery. he can climb on it but he can't really sit on it long enough to shit all over it.
u/verdanders · 5 pointsr/aww

Sounds all too familiar.

If you haven't tried them yet, you might have success with puzzle bones. They're her favorite. She's already gone through two of these ones.

There's a different one she liked which was basically a narrow nylon tube. I ruined that game by hitting it against the ground until the treat popped out, so I could put a fresh one in. Once she saw that she knew to throw her bone into the air and let it hit the ground to get the treat immediately.

Next time I'm getting a dumb dog.

If he ever pisses you off, wake him up one day with Beggin' Strips.

  • Lupine collars and leashes - they have a great guarantee of free replacement if the dog chews up the collar or leash. Perfect for puppies. You can find them in most specialty pet shops.

  • Kibble Nibble - this is an interactive toy that I recommend feeding your puppy and grown up dog from. It keeps them busy and they have to work for their food.

  • Nylabones - start with the puppy ones and when your pup starts getting adult teeth move on to the regular versions. Rotate teething toys so your pup always has something interesting to chew on.

  • Sterilized Bones

When you buy Kongs make sure you get the large or x-large size. Don't fall into the marketing scheme where you buy as they grow. Large Kongs are great because you can stuff all sorts of things in it to keep them busy.

    Kong Recipes

If you have an Amazon Prime account I'd order a lot from them. Free shipping saves you a lot. If you don't have Amazon Prime then you should look at ordering from a bulk pet supply place like Pet Edge. You have to order $60 worth of stuff to avoid the surcharge but you can get some good deals depending on how expensive shipping is. I try to split an order with a friend to keep costs down.
u/peanutbuddy · 3 pointsr/dogs

Great write up! We've been muzzle training May for a while now and just started using it on walks.

I highly recommend using squeezable food for muzzle training! It's much easier than trying to feeding individual treats through the muzzle. May is obsessed with this Kong liver-flavored paste, but you can also use squeeze tubes filled with pureed dog food or Easy Cheese/Cheez Whiz sprayable cheese.

u/Omvega · 3 pointsr/mildlyinteresting

If he tears up rawhide that fast it might be kinda rough on his tummy. You've tried something like this that is totally cleaned, even on the inside? Maybe look into the antler or horn/hoof options, and there are some chews like pressed milk and molded veggie starch that will last about as long as rawhide but would be healthier for digestion.

u/bulborb · 3 pointsr/dogs

Looks like a typical shin bone. You can get them at the grocery store, butchers, pet store, etc. They're a pretty popular pastime for dogs, and it doesn't really matter the brand -- its appeal to the dog is that it's part of an animal, and it's the same thing no matter what company produces them.

u/nkdeck07 · 3 pointsr/dogs

We order these ones in bulk https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001KEWU6M/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Still lasts a decent time and $1.4 a stick instead of 9.

Also found these ones, which takes the 9 inch braided to $5 a piece
https://www.amazon.com/PACK-Redbarn-Braided-Bully-Stick/dp/B00AZOU3UI/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1484929216&sr=8-6&keywords=braided+9+inch+bully+stick

BTW bully sticks can be frozen which helps a ton on the smell and keeps them fresh

u/Tavataar · 2 pointsr/pitbulls

I really like these. They don't last super long, but a bag generally lasts a month between the two dogs that I give them to. ~1 per day.

u/triendorphins · 2 pointsr/Dogtraining

Yummy chummies are about $25 for a nice big bag that will last you a LONG time. The freeze dried livers are $29 for a huge tub. They are both super-stinky and fantastic for when you need a high-value reward.

Using the yummy chummies I was able to easily teach my dog to target (touch) things (hand, sticky note, bells, etc) with her nose in about 10 minutes. Just rub some treat on the target so that it has the scent and reward her with the treat when she targets.

Livers are also fantastic for toys that require the dog to solve problems (Nina Ottosson toys, for example). My dog won't stop trying to figure out the toy until she has the treat.

Of course they are also good for things like bomb-proof recalls or giving super-rewards to dogs who do their business promptly in the right places.

I take my dogs night running off leash on the back roads in my town: pic

they have lights but i think i need one too

If that doesnt count then how about this. it looks pretty similar to the one in your pic

Viva La Moose!!

u/EyesOfEnder · 2 pointsr/samoyeds

You can teach him how to play with the plastic puzzles; when he starts to chew on them (or otherwise not play with it correctly) say no and take it away for a minute then give it back and repeat. Give extra treats when he is on track to figuring it out to encourage that behavior. My favorite puzzle toy/feeder is the Kong Wobbler, I swear it's indestructible! There's a bone toy that's a bone with rubber cups on it that slide that has held up exceptionally as well.

Or if your dog is like mine and finds it way more fun to eat the puzzles than solve them, I recommend lots of trick training. Clicker training is so much fun and you can teach your dog just about anything with it! Sometimes I just google "cool dog tricks" and pick a random one to work on.

Nose work is also great, and it sounds like you've kind of started with the hiding treats around the house thing. I like to get boxes or cups and hide stuff under or in them while she is out of the room and then let her try to find it. If you search "nose work games" lots of good stuff comes up you can try.

Do you know any other dogs he could play with? Dog on dog play always seems to be more tiring than walks for my pup.

u/TheDarkMetroid · 2 pointsr/toofers

Virbac C.E.T. Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews. They work wonders, and she goes crazy for when she hears the bag. We'll try to brush her tooth once a week with a peanut butter toothpaste. (she oddly doesn't mind, thinks it's a game).

She had bad plaque problems way in her back teeth, just up high, last year. But it was because her dog food wasn't big enough. So we switched her to Hill's Science Diet dry dog food (adult for her, even though she is just 19lbs).

u/teevsmcfeevs · 2 pointsr/Dogtraining

What about something like this?
https://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-Lickety-Low-Calorie-Liquid-Treat/dp/B005CUU25G

It's a liquid treat in a bottle with a roller top that your dog can lick the treat off of (you squeeze to make the treat come out). Works great as a training treat, low calorie, and it seems that dogs really like it most of the time.

u/call_me_cthulhu_ · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

this puzzle or these for your doggy.

u/takemeintotown · 2 pointsr/aww

I meant these kind https://www.amazon.com/REDBARN-NATURALS-White-Large-femur/dp/B000HHU8QC if she goes through those that quickly, she is impressive haha!

u/dogs_and_dogs · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

hmmm.. you can buy some baby wipes and wipe his jawbone after he eats peanut butter.... actually nevermind. that would probably hurt him. hmmmmmmmm what about this? I feed my dogs this. It has fish, is soft and chewy, and the dogs love them.

u/tokisushi · 2 pointsr/DogCare

I usually buy from my local boutique shop or from Best Bully Sticks. The 6" bully sticks are good for corgis. They also sell their bully sticks on Amazon.

u/lordofthefeed · 2 pointsr/puppy101

I'm in a similar boat (except I've got more advance notice) and have been finding the Digital Dog Training Textbook linked-to in the sidebar to be invaluable. Highly recommend. It's a little oddly laid out and it repeats itself itself but—as it says—you're really training yourself how to train the pup, so the reinforcement works (at least for me).

Their shopping list (oddly-formatted, watch out) includes:

  • At least six chewtoys to stuff with kibble and treats (The Kong Company’s Kong and Biscuit Ball, Premier’s Squirrel Dude and Football, and sterilized long bones^† are the best.)
  • Water bowl (Only buy your pup a food bowl once he is socialized, well-trained, and has impeccable household manners.)
  • Dog food (dry kibble) During his first weeks at home, make sure your puppy receives all food stuffed in chewtoys, or handfed as rewards for socialization and training.
  • Freeze-dried liver for men, strangers, and children to win your puppy's confidence and as rewards for housetraining

(All links non-affiliate, just tryna be helpful :)

Also, I saw this recommended somewhere. I have used a similar product for our cats and it's fucking magic, so if you're concerned your pup might be stressed, I highly recommend.

^† above, /u/caffeinatedlackey recommends against these until older
u/turdlop · 2 pointsr/antiMLM

If y'all want an actual good product that you can add to your dog's meals, I use this. I just crumble a really small amount on top of their dry food and sometimes I'll add a little bit of water and mix it in. I also cut it into small pieces and use it for training. It's a great high-value training treat.

u/puterTDI · 2 pointsr/Dogtraining

keep in mind that I'm saying to give him treats when you get in the car and right when you start to move. He, hopefully, won't yet be in a stressed out state. You're saying "hey, somethings about to happen, associate it with Yummy treats".

If the kong won't work, maybe try one of those dental cleaning chew toys with some flavor on them:
http://www.amazon.com/KONG-StuffN-Treat-8-Ounce-Liver/dp/B00008DFK5/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1324649767&sr=8-2

http://www.amazon.com/KONG-JumpN-Jack-Dog-Large/dp/B0009YD7O8/ref=sr_1_36?ie=UTF8&qid=1324649814&sr=8-36

Hopefully the dog would be focused on the toy, and it has immediate flavor reward so there's no frustration. That way the dog would begin to associate the car movie with positive experiences.

u/lapagecp · 2 pointsr/snakes

I understand and sympathize with the cost. I think if you look at my spread sheet I don't even list Vision Cages. That might be an oversight now that I think about it. Hind sight being 20/20, had you not spent the money on that setup something like an NPI or Boaphile 322D might be doable. Again I am not here to criticize your choices. Only to show others what is out there. Glass tanks are doable if you put in the effort and you clearly are.

On the spread sheet their are two hides I like. Before I tell you about them let me tell you want I look for and why. I have three qualities that I care about and then a 4th that I consider. How tight fitting it is, how easy it is to clean, how natural it looks and of course all of that has to come at a reasonable price.

Exo Terra Reptile Cave

These hides have come down in price a lot on amazon and at these prices I think they are my favorite. They are very natural looking and reasonably easy to clean. The problem is that I only like the extra large and medium. The large is too flat in my opinion for BP's. That being said the extra large is my all time favorite for all but the 2000 gram or more ball pythons. Its a really tight fit for 1500+ gram snakes but they really seam to like it.

Now on the other side of things I love Reptile Basics Hide Boxes

They are super easy to clean, very inexpensive and the opening being off set to the side is a really nice touch. The cost is great too. I started my BP on Medium hides and moved her up to Large and eventually Extra Large. An extra large reptile basics hide is about the same as the Exo Terra extra large. I have my coastal carpet in a Jumbo Hide Box and once again I am very happy with it.

The key to hides for a BP is not moving them up to the next size hide until they are so tight in their hide that they lift if off the cage floor as if they are wearing it. Then and only then do you know its time to move up. Even then they tend look for a tighter fitting hide for a while after the switch.

Our dog trainer had the Wellness Jerky at one of our training sessions. Scuba really loved it. It was soft and easy to break up into pieces. I think we tried the beef flavor, but they have a chicken and lamb flavor that might suit your needs.

I worked at a high end pet store that really educated employees about the products and pet's needs and these were our best calming treats. They are not expensive online and are even on Prime if you have it. You can use them in conjunction with the thunder shirt and see how that works before turning to the vet for prescription meds. I had a lot of people with success stories that way.

You might also look into calming sprays that mimic dog's natural pheromones. This is supposed to be a good one and is also cheaper online.
Does your dog happen to be crate trained?

And just out of curiosity, what area do you live in where people are already setting off fireworks for the 4th of July?! I've never heard of that before.

u/speakstruth · 2 pointsr/Rabbits

Toys!

These are great "hide and seek" toys to play with your buns with. You hide treats or pellets in the cavities and your bun finds them!
Hagen Living World, Linnea, Blenda

Alternatively, you can also get something like this or this and stick treats and pellets in it so your bunny will run around trying to get them.

You can also make a maze or house out of boxes. My buns love running around and playing in anything made of cardboard. I've also heard that hiding treats inside an egg carton or inside a paper bag is also fun for them. :)

u/nopointers · 1 pointr/greatdanes

I've always got a couple ropes and Nylabones going for my two. Just watch some of the ropes start shredding long pieces of cotton. I throw them away as soon as that starts.

Black Kong FTW. The Wobbler is also tougher than you might think.

The Buster cube lasted about 2 weeks before my girl realized she could hold the cube in her paws, jamb her lower jaw into the hole, twist out the core and destroy it. I just happened to be looking the right direction when she worked it out, so get to watch it die.

One more suggestion: Elk antlers.

u/womenginerd · 1 pointr/Boxers

Our boxer has a special love for destroying things, but a few toys that have managed to last:

  • Good old fashioned Kong's
  • Pocket Treat thing from JW -Obsessed with this thing
  • Chuckit Kick it - Purchased after she loved a foam soccer ball to death
  • Chuckit Rebounce - only tennis ball/fetch balls that don't get crushed to smithereens
  • Tuffy soft toys - she wanted to rip all the stuffing out when she first got it, but besides that first little tear its held up
  • We've also braided together old sheets to make long tug of war toys, the solid sheet fabric seems to hold up better than regular rope toys.
u/Ironbornsuck · 1 pointr/dogs

I have an older JRT that gets nervous if we are gone for too long. I found calming chews that help him stay chill if a bunch of people/dogs are coming over or if we are gone for a few days. I know not everyone approves of "drugging" dogs, but they really do help to take the edge off for him. They aren't that expensive either. Here's a link to the ones for larger dogs: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002FZ147G?pc_redir=1409923244&robot_redir=1

haha, the smaller guy in the photo is actually named Scooby. I put together two of these, but had to temporarily use cardboard for the back wall because the hooks on a couple of the panels were welded shut. Had to cut the corners on the tarps at the middle so they could lay flat and overlap. For bedding I got two towels and put fleece over them. The tunnel and the grass balls are here and here.

u/cbcanine · 1 pointr/Dogtraining

I use Zuke's (Minis) treats, mainly because of their strong scent and low calorie content (3.5kc/treat)

For the more squeamish, there is a roll-on deodorant-shaped bottle of "liquid treat" called the Lickety Stik (http://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-Lickety-1-69-Fluid-Ounce-Bacon/dp/B005CUU25G). You unscrew the cap, and give your dog one or two licks. No muss, no fuss.

Any freeze-dried organ meat is typically appreciated by dogs and is relatively healthy, but rather caloric. If smell is your issue, be aware: liver - especially - stinks!

A decent, drier alternative to hot dogs are pepperettes. You can get good ones at health food stores, that don't contain all the preservatives and substances that make them unhealthy.

Treats should be really small, as it's the frequency, not the quantity, that dogs perceive. For my 70lb+ dog, I use treats smaller than a pinky nail (ie: a Zuke's Mini)

Depending on how many treats you give and your dog's size, you may have to decrease their daily food rations so as to not overfeed.

Create a value system for your treats: 1-3 point treats are for easy things that have already been mastered (ex: sit with low distraction), 4-7 point treats are for more difficult tasks (ex: heeling quietly past another dog) and, finally, 8-10 point treats are for very difficult or new commands (ex: recalling from playing with another dog).
Needless to say, both the treat and distraction value system(s) vary from dog to dog.

Wheat-based dog treats ("biscuits") are large, have a weak scent and no flavour. They can be considered low value, but because of how difficult wheat can be to digest, I'd avoid them altogether.

Trick training is amazing to wear out your dog's brain and you can make major progress in as little as two 10 minute sessions a day. Check out Kyra Sundance's books:

101 Dog Tricks

10 Minute Dog Training Games

101 Ways to do More With Your Dog

Kyra runs the Do More With Your Dog website which is an easy way to earn titles with your dog by doing tricks. At the lower levels anyone can sign off as witness to your dog's tricks to earn the titles so you don't have to be in a class or anything (though classes are fun and the DMWYD website has resources to find local trainers)

You can also check out brain engaging toys such as these (NOTE these toys should be used with supervision so your dog doesn't eat the toy!)

-Ethical Pet Seek-A-Treat Shuffle Bone Dog Puzzle

-Ethical Pet Seek-A-Treat Flip 'N Flap Dog Puzzle

-Nina Ottosson Plastic Dog Brick Interactive Interactive Doy Toy Puzzle for Dogs, Plastic

-Nina Ottosson Dog Casino Interactive Doy Toy Puzzle for Dogs, Wood

Really any toy by Nina Ottosson is a good choice.

Enrichment can also be as easy as not feeding your dog out of a bowl. Try these (can be used with less direct supervision)

-Nina Ottosson Dog Treat Maze

-Kong Wobbler

And my dogs have constant access to these chewies (i leave these in their crates as well as long as they don't chew them down small enough to be choking risks).

-Nylabone

-Busy Buddy Treat Holding Bone

-Busy Buddy Jack

-Refills for the above Busy Buddy bones

-Busy Buddy for extreme chewers

Antlers

There are other brands and you can even buy them by the pound, they are expensive but are worth it because they last.

Well, sort of last, no toy nor bone is pit-proof. My pit-mix loves antlers and has two that he chews on most days. Those two have lasted a few months so far.

This is our 8 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Winston!

He chews and chews and chews, but he's pretty good at keeping it to his toys (and the occasional stray sock)

His favourites (and those that haven't given up after about 5 minutes are the Kong ball, Kong classic, Kong squeezze, elk antlers and finally Nylabones (I tend to buy one size up to avoid him tearing through them...

He is a surprisingly strong chewer and has destroyed just about everything else we've presented to him within minutes, sometimes within seconds!

There are 3 pitbulls around my place and I find they have LOTS of energy...I would suggest that you invest in some "agility equipment" to work the mind and the body! We bought some cheap shower tension rods to use as jumping obstacles in the hallway, a play tunnel from IKEA - although it may be too small for a pit...and this summer, we will make some weave poles out of PVC pipes and stuff.

A travel bowl or this Nylabone dinosaur would be awesome for Winston! :D

Thanks so much for the contest and congrats on the new pup! Enjoy him and snuggle him and love him! Dogs are the best! :D

When I first bought Peaches hers I put in a bowl with Chicken Stock overnight. I have never seen her go more nuts over a toy! Other then that 1/2 a teaspoon of Peanut Butter, Liver Paste. You can also get the Kong Stuffing you don't need much so the price even's out pretty quickly. Other then that any treats that they like as long as you shove it up the top where they can't reach it, or on the side. Hope that helps :-)

There is only one tip that will help you here, long-term. LIMIT HER ACCESS.

If she chewed up your stuff, it's because you failed to sufficiently supervise her. She's a puppy and she WILL chew whatever she can if given the opportunity. She should either be crated/in a puppy playpen, or under your DIRECT supervision. I mean like, within your line of sight. Leashed to you, preferably, but at least in the same room where you can watch her constantly.

If she doesn't have the opportunity to chew, she won't be chewing. Remove her access to things she can chew on. If she learns to chew on things now, it's a habit she'll have for life. If she has no access to chew on things she shouldn't, then she'll never develop the habit and as an adult, won't chew on things she isn't supposed to.

Aversives, like bitter sprays and such, are short-term solutions and will not actually change the way she thinks or what she wants to do.

If she's under your direct supervision and you see her try to chew something forbidden, then you offer her something safe. I strongly, strongly recommend Himalayan yak cheese chews (like these: https://www.amazon.com/Peppy-Pooch-Cheese-Premium-Chew/dp/B01N3UZ10A) . They're very hard, completely vegetarian and all-natural, and my dog is addicted. Once upon a time, she would chew shoes, metal furniture, wood, etc etc etc. Now, she only chews these and her toys!

Get these. They're great for crate training to keep pup busy and they last forever and they don't get soggy and gross.

Redbarn - Natural White Bone Large Dog Chew, Real femur bone https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HHU8QC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_.XI4xbVNENCYG

You can get them at Petsmart and some have yummy treats in them.

Thick washed cotton rope, the thiccer the better.

Bully sticks or antler are the best thing to chew. Rawhide isn't digestible, but both the bully sticks and antler are. They prevent nasty, paint peeling rawhide farts too.

Some butcher shops also offer smoked femoral heads that have meat, marrow and cartilage on them that make really good treats. The bone is heavy enough that can't chip it and the rest is digestible.

if you're an anti Amazon person, pardon the links, but they give you an idea what to look for. I use Smile because they donate money to the charter school my kids attend.

Just make sure that anything you're buying comes from a nation that enforces food standards for dog toys and chewies. U.S., EU, Brazil, and India are the big ones that pop up in my mind. Avoid anything Chinese like the plague. Stuff is frequently toxic or carrying pathogens.

Look at some Exo Terra or ZooMed caves; you should be able to find some decent decor at your local pet store! Just flip it over and make sure there aren't any holes he could get stuck in. I use these in the Large size for my adult corn: https://www.amazon.com/Exo-Terra-Reptile-Cave-Medium/dp/B0002AR5B0?th=1&psc=1

For a cheaper alternative, cardboard boxes stuffed with some aspen or paper towels make an easy and snug option!

I've seen a few people suggesting antlers...do you have a brand you'd recommend? And how long do they typically last? They are more expensive I know but if they last a decent amount of time could be worth it.

Edit: I found this one http://www.amazon.com/Chasing-Our-Tails-100-Percent-Naturally/dp/B0053WMOKY/ref=sr_1_4?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1412208298&sr=1-4&keywords=dog+elk+antler seems decent...and the pictures are all of big dogs similar to mine, including a bit gnawing on one which gives me hope it will last a while haha. $20 isn't terrible considering the Nylabone was $15

My FAVORITE Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid. I love Ariel and when I was little, I felt like her and I had a lot in common and I could relate to her.

It looks like you have dogs. Have they tried this? I love these! It helps break down tartar on their teeth

My item under $5.00

Also, my favorite Disney memory was finishing the Princess Half Marathon this past February :)

See ya real soon!

  3. 20 minutes of peace and quiet.

Also - Nylabone Durachew models of chew toys, like this dinosaur my staffy's love more than the regular "bone" shapes

I’m not sure what comes after the word poultry but take a peek at these- we break them in half and my picky eater enjoys them!
virbac chews

The other thing he loves are beef gullet sticks (they’re smaller than bully stick and I cut them in half length wise to become 2 treats.)

Good luck!
