Stuff like this has been posted before. The stuff here is pretty much shit, and it's not really a special sale. These things are always "on sale" that their current price it might as well be their normal price.

EDIT: For example, here is a Kenneth Cole shirt for $40, saying it's 40% off. Here are the shirts on the Kenneth Cole website. They're either 2 for $80 or $45. Definitely not 40% off.

Do you mean a banded/Mandarin collar where it doesn't fold over?

If you literally mean no collar... I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Can you buy me this please? I need it for my pool party.

Not exactly sure, but that look is probably just how he adjusted his collar before posing for the shot.

You could get a similar look by maybe ironing and starching your shirt a certain way but my best guess would be magnetic collar stays.

Simple solution: when you give them their first set of cuff links, also send some French cuff shirts. You can actually get them from Amazon. This line of [Perry Ellis] (http://www.amazon.com/Perry-Ellis-French-Iridescent-Cabernet/dp/B00OC5VZ8U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420387775&sr=8-1&keywords=french+cuff) shirts is actually pretty nice (don't confuse them with Perry the Platypus shirts, of course) and there are plenty of less expensive options, like these [Stacy Adams] (http://www.amazon.com/Stacy-Adams-39000-Dress-Shirt/dp/B00CBQ6YSS/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1420387775&sr=8-6&keywords=french+cuff) shirts.

Buying dress shirts without having handled any of them before can be a bit tricky, but if you go with some that have good reviews, you're probably okay. The key is to just get the guys to like French cuff shirts, then they'll find their own that they prefer.

I was pretty fortunate that I got hooked on them by doing a lot of international traveling for work -- my co-workers in Europe all wear French cuffs, and when we were in southeast Asia I had a bunch of shirts tailored, which really makes you fall in love with clothes...

Has anyone had any experience with their collar stays? I'd love to upgrade to metal and $7 for 9 shirts' worth seems like a great deal.

EDIT to answer my question, it's actually 7 long stays, 7 medium stays, and 4 short stays, so... yeah. That being said, you can get 24 stays here for $1 more: http://www.amazon.com/SHARKK%C2%AE-Stainless-Collar-Plastic-Shirts/dp/B00BHLCGHQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373940801&sr=8-1&keywords=collar+stays and these are stainless steel, I kinda feel like they'd be more sturdy than bronze... because stainless steel is more sturdy than bronze.

I'm looking for a light purple and light pink twill or poplin shirt (like this color for the purple option). I ordered both colors in the Goodthreads OBCD, but the colors were a little bright and I'm looking for something a little nicer than oxford cloth.

The problem is I got this shirt last year and I love it, and while it says it's an oxford, the fabric doesn't feel like it. The shirt fits so well though that I love it, and I want to find something similar. So can anyone recommend me affordable (<$40) shirts so I can stop wearing blue all the time?

I like the tie but I don't think it would work well with a white shirt. Maybe something like this or less formal

u/Polartch · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

Fit looks okay from this angle, but it's hard to tell with only this picture. Sleeve roll looks sloppy, redo it so it has at least one more roll and sits naturally above your elbow.

As for the collar, look into magnetic collar stays or just metal ones. They make a world of difference. Alternatively, you could buy the metal ones, and then separately buy some low profile magnets and save yourself some money.

This is what we plan on too. Here are the ones we bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00LG6GPLK/ref=ox_sc_act_image_8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2FMODVSXJ99KG

Pretty good quality for the price!
