Eu am un Paperwhite și mi se pare cel mai comod, poți citi și pe întuneric și nu ai nevoie de reading light cumpărată separat. Dacă ai un buget mai mic, poți cumpăra și un model mai vechi, nu mi se pare că e mare diferență.

• Da, găsești câteva sute pe Elefant.ro. Din experiența mea, sunt foarte puține și nu aș cumpăra un Kindle dacă aș plănui să citesc doar în română.

• Nu, este exact ca o carte obișnuită din punctul ăsta de vedere. Poate dacă ai modelul Paperwhite și dai luminozitatea la maxim într-o cameră întunecată o să te deranjeze după un timp, dar nu mi s-a întâmplat.

• Sunt puțin mai ieftine decât cărțile paperback. Uneori sunt mult mai ieftine, dar am văzut și cazuri în care versiunea de Kindle era mai scumpă. Prețurile se învârt pe la $10.

• Sistemul de operare nu e la fel de intuitiv ca iOS, dar te descurci destul de ușor. Cam așa funcționează atunci când citești.

When reading in bed, I use a clip-on light (the Kandle). It's very light and works pretty well.

If you don't want to pay the price difference, you can always get the basic with something like the Kandle. I have this and it works pretty well.

I tried the lighted case but it was too bright and the light disturbed my wife in bed... this one has only one LED and is rechargable, so no messing with AAA or watch batteries like most other book lights that I tried. I really wanted to like the Lightwedge but it was too awkward to use with the Kindle... with regular paper books it would probably be great, though.

I've tried a lot of lights and most of them had an unnatural white bleaching feel about them, which while making things readable just never felt comfortable to me. The two that I actually like - the light feels like a lamp it, has a yellow sort of glow - are the:

I'm going to do something weird here and actually recommend something you asked for.

I use this and it does its job. I read a lot of paperbacks so I wanted a slimmer style and this is quite lightweight.

kandle for the kindle

I love my kandle. It clips to the top of the kindle and provides just the right amount of light without requiring a case.

I use one of these. I usually use a plate for a work surface & just clip it to the side. Pretty helpful.

While a diffuser on your headlamp will work as a nice tent light, then you can't use it as a headlamp.

I sometimes carry a MightyBright Travelflex book light, 1.4 oz, using one AAA battery, which lasts for 25 hours. The flex gooseneck lets you point it in any direction you want, the clip lets you attach it almost anywhere you want, the light output is about perfect (not too bright, not too dim) and it also actually works great for reading.

the kandle light is really nice. it's small (weighs a little over an ounce) and just clips onto the top of the kindle.
