$4.50 isn't a lot to spend to insure that you can see 250ft up a cliffside.

Eye glass straps are cheap and work. I’m glad to know there won’t be a pair of glasses hitting me on the ride.

Buy these:

Along with a hat/cap I like to have a tether. Those wind gusts tend to send the boat into a man overboard drill ... for a hat

Exactly. I am at work and they are at home so I can't post pics but basically it is a foam neoprene band that wraps around the back like regular croakies, but inside the band -- where it is directly behind the head -- is sort of spongy float that is just buoyant enough to hold my Ray Bans above water.

Here is a close product, but mine just looks way more robust and...better. I dunno; they are awesome and I haven't seen them since I bought them.

Edit: These are closer to my design, but I don't recognize the brand.

After loosing countless pairs of glasses, I’ve narrowed in on a system that works.

I use Knock Around Premiums

And I tie them up with this Chums Halfpipe retainer

The Chums float and you can crank them down pretty tight. The Knock Around are cheap enough that it matters less if I loose them, but I’m going on 3 months with no issues with this setup

I really like Cablz. I still have the first one I bought almost 10 years ago.

I've had several Croakies brand and they don't seem to last but a year or two at most.
