I think it is a jalapeno corer. Go make some poppers!

They should change the headline to "Heritage Foundation lobbyists pen op-ed and Trump agrees to let them put his name on it". I guarantee! you Trump didn't write a word of that editorial, and it came straight from the desk of some conservative think tank.

There are a number of kitchen tools with C clamps that could be attached to it including food mills, grinders and apple peelers.

You might appreciate an apple slicer. This is the cheapest one I could find on amazon.

However, I personally feel people should not buy directly from product links on reddit. A lot of drop shipping sites have bots that advertise here, and you have no idea how safe they are feel free to look at the items to get an idea of search terms, but I highly encourage people to find their own sources before you give out personal information.

Agree with Haynes.

Got one of these:

I cut the avocado in 2, remove the pit and use the "tool".

I end up with almost perfect slices.

Nothing fancy, but it worked fine for ~30 lbs of cherries a couple of years ago.

I don't recall a specific name, I got mine in a kit. But here's one on Amazon

My mom hates cats. Really, she's just not an animal person... I love her despite her flaws. :)

Anyhow, when I lost my job and had to move in with her, she relented about bringing my kitty after much begging my me and my children.

When I got a job and was able to move out, she sat me down and had a 'talk' with me about how it wasn't fair to take Azzie away from the home where she could go outside as I would have to put her into an apartment and make her an indoor kitty. Mom said she could 'tolerate' dealing with the cat since she was outdoors part time.

Mom forgot to mention that it was because they'd grown used to sleeping all cuddled up and cozy.

Mom loves my her cat.

EDIT: Oh yeah. This is $1.29 but has shipping... if I were to win, I would totally pay for the shipping on it if I got a gift card. :)

> Not sure if 45+ minutes every day is realistic, while also recovering from the gym every other day.

It depends on intensity for me. I can add casual cardio with no problem, but I will absolutely crash if I'm doing anything high intensity.

> I have created a vast spreadsheet to record all my lifting numbers.

I love spreadsheets...and Google Docs feeds my addiction.

> Cut up the pineapple!

Do you have one of these? My pineapple consumption went from 1 per year to 1 per week after getting one of these.

Get one that clamps to the counter or table. You are going to put a ton of rotations so its better to put a piece of wood under the top clamp so you don't accidentally add character to your table.

For those of us that like to drink out of pineapples (it makes the neighbors jealous), this corer is an indispensable tool.

I love spaghetti squash! First I cut it in half (a serrated knife is safer than my dull blades- I have this tool and it's wonderful) and take out the seeds. I spray the insides with spray olive oil, pinch of salt on each side, and bake face-down on 375 for about 40 mins. The squash should string away when you scrape it with a fork. Slightly underdone is better than overdone in my opinion- then it's just mush.

I usually just scrape the goods out and toss with tomato sauce or pesto and chicken breast. It takes a while for the squash to bake but it's really not a lot of hands-on time.

ONE Piece stainless steel, it is a beauty, not these cheap plastic one or the small one like the size of your palm.

You can buy it at https://www.amazon.com/Watermelon-Stainless-Utensils-Cantaloup-Pineapple/dp/B07H7DYQ4R/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1538811931&sr=8-4&keywords=heavy+duty+melon+slicer

I bet you did great! Sometimes when we think we have failed, we have really passed with flying colors or at least close! So keep your chin up and smile!

Tomato/Strawberry corer This would make my life so much easier and I'd be wasting less food! I eat a lot of tomatoes and strawberries! I cut up my strawberries and freeze them for smoothies! This item would make it so that I can easily take out the leaves instead of cutting off the entire end and wasting yummy strawberries!

For any of you average people who want the convenience of cutting a pineapple without losing a finger or two:Pineapple Slicer

u/SpagNMeatball · 1 pointr/biggreenegg

They look great.

This is personal preference, but I do mine a little different.

  1. Cut off the top, Core and de-seed the peppers. There is a tool you can buy to help.
  2. Cook Chorizo, bacon or other sausage in frying pan.
  3. Mix #2 with cream cheese
  4. Stuff peppers with #3 mix
  5. Wrap bacon around pepper and over the top. Secure with toothpick
  6. Dust with your favorite BBQ rub
  7. Egg it.

Your method yields twice and many items, But I like having the whole pepper for flavor. My way can be flipped over to crisp up the bacon.

These are pretty good for sour cherries, I have a new one, its almost identical to the 25 year old one my neighbor has: https://www.amazon.com/Westmark-40002260-Cherry-Stoner-Kernex/dp/B000FDSM0W/
