She doesn't have to show off her chest while wearing a V neck. Plus there's always undershirts. Also, there's a difference between the way gaudy 70s pants flare vs bootcut jeans.

I’m waiting for my first big goal of a normal weight of 158 to do a full body/face set. I was just so excited to button these because I bought them a month before I started losing. This was the biggest size available in these jeans. Hoping they will fit like the picture sometime soon!

I've been on the hunt for a pair of rust/burnt umber/whisky colored jeans for at least a year. I'm looking for something like this, which is not available anywhere in my size, this, also not available in my size, or this, which I tried and didn't fit me well.

I know it's probably not the ideal time to be looking for this color, since it's more fall than summer, but any leads would be appreciated.

You may be joking about flannel-lined jeans, but I adore mine. They’re pretty cheap on Amazon.

How about these AG jeans?

EDIT: Actually, AG has quite a few options. One, two, three

Levi's Women's 715 are the jeans I've been searching for forever. I'll be getting another pair even though they run long and I had to hem them. I'm 4'10, for reference, so I have to hem a lot of things.

As far as not wanting it to be a "mash up" of pieces, good luck. These are custom costumes and not readily available pieces. You'll have to buy separate pieces, do some constructing on your own, and hope they match up and look ok.

you can tell from this image that its a coat and pants.

I think wearing this jacket (remove the pocket buttons for a cleaner look. Hell, remove ALL the buttons and add some Velcro or snaps inside the "fly" to seal up more cleanly) will work best for your purposes. I can't find a stand-collar style jacket or even just zipper-down bomber in two-tone, and I can't find any in white in dyeable materials. Your best bet is probably this jacket.

there are lots of patterns for shoulder pads online that you can follow with foam and cover with a fabric of your choosing so that the size/color matches the costumes (you can see the shoulder pads are a shinier material than the jacket). Attach with craft spikes

For the pants, wear a split-color jean

You could always go with this instead and remove the head so as to form a collar (you would then need to buy a different morph hood for the head, in black) and then do the shoulder pad thing. Much easier. You'll likely run into issues with the amount of lycra/spandex in that suit in terms of adding shoulder pads, etc. Its unlikely they'll sit where you want them to. You're much better off using something that won't stretch, like the cotton jacket above.

Unless you're going to a poppy-themed party, no one is going to know what your costume is, so its not like anyone will be scrutinizing the verisimilitude of it. You might have to settle for "the best I can get on short notice".

Sure! I've had luck with the Levi's Signature line both modern and curvy. I own both of the following styles:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XK18RM
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H3EB82E/

What I like about them is they don't look like jeggings, have actual pockets and don't stretch out as I wear them. They also angle the belt loops so your belts fit properly and I don't have silly waist gap even without a belt.

I suspect it's a line Levi's has made for various retailers and are also marked as Denizen Levi's at Target but my local Targets are always sold out of my size so I can't try any on in store to verify.

I NEED these light up boots because if you don't have cool light up boots YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US!!!!!! (plus let's be real these would look awesome on stage)

Also I need my love, my life, the best thing ever invented: Fast & Furious series because I could literally be in heaven watching
These on a loop all the time.

In all actuality I do need jeans because otherwise my formerly fat ass, currently still semi fat ass will be walking around naked come fall because none of my jeans fit and that's a sight that not everyone wants to see so I'm catering to the people who prefer not to see my bare ass.

eunina jeans style 9912. They are my favorite jeans, even including my men's clothing!

I just bought these and am loving that decision. They are trouser style and have all normal jean pockets. True to size. Measure your widest part (hip or tummy) and buy the size that fits that waist measurement.

If you need something dressier, I've heard good things about beta brand. They are pricey, and my work is more casual, so I opted for jeggings to wear with boots and the Rekucci jeans.

Well, sight unseen, i'm sure i'd be a fan of your bell bottoms. (As long as they're not like these :P). Fashion is cyclical, you're just ahead of the curve.

I recently bought these Levi pull on skinny jeans. They are decently comfortable.

u/rosycoloredglass · 1 pointr/findfashion

I could be wrong, but they look like straight leg jeans to me--similar to skinny jeans, but looser around the ankle. These seem to be similar in color from JC Penney, another pair from Old Navy (the Lakeshore rinse), as well as some on Amazon. Hope that helps! :)

Try Levi's! I am short-wasted and their high rises come up to my under-boob area, and I'm 5'10! So it's not like I'm a little shorty. Worth a shot at least. I have these: https://www.amazon.com/Levis-Womens-Skinny-Jeans-Story/dp/B0713Q7LG2/ref=sr_1_3?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1501533501&sr=1-3&nodeID=7141123011&psd=1&keywords=levi+high+rise+skinny+jeans

I also have a 27 in waist but a 45 in hip, jeans with stretch are amazing, but it's still hard to find ones that fit, I just bought three levis that fit really well in a size 8

I also have a few from fashion nova because they were cheap and stretchy, but the three jeans I bought in the same size, two of them fit and one is a little too tight, so their sizing isn't super accurate

then some other ones from amazon, but have a super high waist, I'm 5'8" and they are still very high on me, I bought a size large

So, I agree with the online Old Navy recommendations, because tall shirts are the best. For their jeans, I usually go down a size if they stretch a lot, so I don't have to deal with saggy Jean's by the end of the day.

I'm not sure how tall they are, but Kohls online, JcPenny online, and Target online all have talls available. The selection seems to vary from time to time though, because I know I have tall bootcut from target, and they only have skinnies available right now.

Also, don't look down on the stereotypical mom jean brands, like Gloria Vanderbilt. I don't know how tall her talls, are but those jeans are hella comfortable and cute in the right cut.

But, my biggest recommendation is Amazon. My favorite pair of jeans is from there, and they're actually a little too long for me. But they're simple and fit perfect. l(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073S9FHZ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_MWvFDbP4SZSFP)

I also get tall leggings on Amazon, and can find longer maxi skirts and dresses too.

I bought a pair of Levi's jeggings off Amazon and they are amazing post-partum! (I'm 3 months pp) They have a high waisted smoothing belly panel, look just like skinny jeans, but fit and feel like comfortable yoga pants. I love them, and feel a little more put together than when I just wear black leggings.
