This renovation took wayy longer than anticipated (which, isn't that always the case?). My boyfriend and I did a lot of the work ourselves as well.
We tore out the old kitchen, did all the tiling (my first time!), repaired drywall, painted the walls, ceilings and all of the trim, and replaced the track lighting for more modern lights.
We left the cabinets, countertop, flooring, electrical and plumbing to the pros!

Delta makes peerless ^^
Service and repair plumber here. Rental properties: get whatever you can for the price you can afford. If it's a 1400/m rental, toss a 150$ moen faucet in with as few moving parts as possible. It won't last 15 years. No faucet will last 15 years anymore in a rental. Get a swing spout faucet.
Cheap rental:

Is what I would toss in because it is very easy to repair(I said repair).

Cheap, but doesn't look terrible.
Oh gotcha. This one looks nice and big for $100 less than the SS one I was eyeing. Might be able to get a nice big faucet or something like this.
Thanks for the link!
Except if you don't stay on top of the fridge maintenance, the dispenser breaks and you end up not having it anyway. And I know me, I wont stay on top of the maintenance. Instead I plan on installing one of these under my sink, piped up to one of these. That way Ive removed the failure point of the fridge door dispenser, and if the chiller ever dies, it's $350 for a total replacement. I bet the fridge repair would be twice that. Besides, a little ice water tap at my sink is just cool as hell.
$2000 is a little more than what I usually see. But >$1000 is not all that unusual, if there is a particular feature or brand that you need to match the rest of your kitchen. A completely random search on Amazon just found: https://www.amazon.com/Rohl-QL66L-STN-2-Architectural-Mounted-Handles/dp/B015DQOWUE
I am not saying you'd have to buy this particular model. But anecdotally, I heard a lot of frustrating stories about the cheap sub-$300 "made by the lowest bidder" pot fillers (even if sold under well-known brand names). You probably don't need to go all the way to $1000 to get quality, but you probably want something around $500-600 to get higher reliability.
Plumbing fixtures are really really expensive. And if design is important to you, then things get truly crazy.
When I first saw my current home I felt the same about a lot of aspects of it. After a few tweaks the home really grew on me and I really love it.
Cabinets
Wall decor
Cabinet knobs
Switch plate covers
Faucet
I hope I captured the general feel of the design you like. I hope these will help you create your perfect kitchen.
If you're a citizen of the UK, can't you just go on America's Amazon.com (as opposed to the UK version) and order a regular sink/faucet?
Like this or something.
Okay here, tell me what's wrong with this product...

So you go to a flea market owned by ABC company and one of the merchants is selling crack are you trying to tell me that ABC company has no legal ramifications? If it is illegal to sell crack and you allow people to sell crack through you, how can you say you have no responsibility.
Even if you don't know the exact model, the pull out heads are replaceable with some universal models. You don't have to replace the whole faucet. It just unscrews from the hose and it's a standard thread.
Check Home Depot or Amazon for "pull out kitchen faucet head".
Here's one on Amazon
I've replaced one before when it cracked over winter at a cottage.
I'm really optimistic about this
My wife's idea. We'll find out on Wednesday how it is
I brew beer at home, so I regularly fill 15 gallons or more and I just slip a piece of silicone tubing over my filter faucet.
I just have one of the regular like this https://www.amazon.com/iSpring-GA1-BN-Filtration-Systems-Brushed-Nickel-Contemporary/dp/B00FZ2HAY2/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1FIZRE6PP9IPU&keywords=drinking+water+faucet&qid=1564671168&s=gateway&sprefix=drinking+water+faucet%2Caps%2C162&sr=8-6 and I slip a piece of silicone tubing over it, 5/16th tubing works for mine.
You might find a size of tubing in vinyl that would work, but silicone is a lot more flexible, so it goes on easier.
I am trying to connect an RO type faucet like this
to a standard sink supply line. Id like to tee off of the sink supply line to provide the faucet with its own water supply (it will have an inline filter). I am not sure of the correct reducers to get for this. I ordered this
but the male end is just a touch too large. I am obviously not the most knowledgeable when it comes to plumbing sizes, but I would greatly appreciate any help!
I have this sink in my garage. It is awesome for home brewing, particularly when paired with a spring-loaded sprayer faucet like this one.
I am able to clean my 15 gallon SS Brewtech kettle easily - and I can even turn it sideways and soak both it and a carboy at the same time.
The sink is also great for washing the dog!
This faucet does that, but I don't recommend it unless you need a cheap faucet, ours crapped out after a year: Kraus KPF-2250 Single Lever... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OM7DDC4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This one does it too (most of the time, it occasionally sticks in spray). I wanted a name brand faucet but had trouble finding one that listed the back to stream feature: WEWE Single Handle High Arc... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H3OMH7Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
We have this and love it.

Plus they back up their products.
My mistake, let me edit the OP. I meant to link to the Touch20 model on Amazon. I don't necessarily think I need that model, though-- and would probably consider going with the non-touch version.
$397.19 - Delta Faucet Trinsic Pro Single-Handle Spring Spout Touch Kitchen Sink Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer, Touch2O Technology and Magnetic Docking Spray Head, Arctic Stainless 9659T-AR-DST
Universal replacement pull out faucets are about $14. My toddler broke the button on mine. Never an exact match, so good on you for saving the original, but this is nearly as good.
