The Aerosols Overdrive loafers are insanely comfy. I’ve worn them for 14 hour shifts in the hospital or clinic without issue! They have lots of cute colors. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076BQYPQ5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dgaJBb39AWM4P

I'm looking for a great pair of classic, low-heeled, closed-toe black leather mules that are comfortable for lots of walking. I tried the Rachel Comey Brie mules, but the rounded toe looked a little dowdy, and they made my feet look larger. Anyone have a pair they love?

If it helps, I wear a 5.5 or 6 (or an EU 36) and am looking to spend $300 or less—bonus points for $150 or less.

Thank you!! The shoes are from an Amazon prime brand called 206 Collective.

Thanks! They are really comfortable too. My coworkers had been raving about them and the fact they aren’t expensive on Amazon

What about some horsebit loafers? The hardware on them would look good with the jewelry! https://www.amazon.com/Steve-Madden-Womens-Loafer-Leather/dp/B01N1J051Z/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=steve+madden+loafer&qid=1575079645&sr=8-4 (sorry for the link) I have these (in regular loafers but I could only find the slides) and they are great!

Backless Loafer

Got these, and I’m in love with them. Super cute and I get the Gucci loafers look without breaking the bank

These aren’t reps but they’re great shoes- I have this pair (9.5 us) in black and get tons of compliments on them. If you’re near a Nordstrom or a NR you might be able to try them on in person. They have 3 colors listed online going up to size 11 in at least one of the colors! 🙌

Here is another open back loafer from amazon, so if they didn’t fit it would be easy returns. I have not personally tried these, but have seen other repladies recommend them

Aerosoles had a dupe last year called the "East side loafer". They don't sell it from their website anymore but you can find it on Amazon or resale sites like 6pm or secondhand sites like ebay and poshmark.

The Aerosoles East Side flat might be worth trying - it's still slightly narrow because of the pointed toe but sounds like it will stretch with a few wears based on reviews. I can follow up with a review in a week when mine arrive!

I have a pair of [Coach Mary Lock up loafers] (https://www.amazon.com/COACH-Womens-Mary-Lock-Up/dp/B06X6D69RS) and I find them to be sneaker-comfy. I have tan but they're classic looking and come in cute colors. Initially I was turned off by the logo on the top part but it doesn't bother me now having worn them a while, it's hardly large and flashy. It has an inner wedge so I don't feel my feet look "duck flat" in them, but it can start to feel hard if it's the wrong day. I wore them with just foot socks and there was no break-in period at all. No blisters anywhere, no toe or foot discomfort, not rubbing anywhere.

I got these for my bridesmaids and they all LOVE them. They have been breaking them inand have gotten tons of compliments already and it isn't even the wedding day yet. Also, super cheap!

You can get flats that cover the top of your foot. I wear these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071ZRLHXF/ (but there’s lots of similar designs)

Black sneakers are also common.

At my work any shoe is ok as long as all skin is covered (like with socks) most non-labby people wear lab inappropriate shoes and keep socks and even shoes in their desk for lab work.

I prefer jeans and wear them because it’s ok in my current role but I have slacks from land’s end that I wear as needed. Any business casual blouse should be fine if your lab coats button up to your neck but otherwise you want to be careful about showing skin below the neck as that would be a horrible place to spill acid. Happened to someone I know.

Following up on my "must be comfortable for person with foot issues/insoles" shoe post from yesterday, has anyone worn these styles? To sum up my other concerns, I'm traveling to Great Britain+Paris in the rainy season with trail and city walking and need them to pack well and dry well. I've read a ton of reviews but none are specific to people with actual foot issues like heal pain.

I found some on amazon if you’re willing to risk the quality:

You can go down from the listing provided and see similar results for more options too!

I love my Clarks. Don't look super fancy but I think they look nicer than Danskos personally: https://www.amazon.com/CLARKS-Womens-Everlay-Heidi-Loafer/dp/B01N6ECIJ1
