I have about 10 of these nursing tanks because I can nurse in public without a cover. The layers cover your breast enough to be discrete without the hassle of the cover (i hate using a cover).

I also have a few of the dresses that are a similar concept to the tank. These are my favorite nursing products.

I am in love with these tops from amazon. They are so comfortable and give me enough cover while breastfeeding.

I got these and these to try out. The first ones are nice because they don’t show when they’re wet as bad as the other brand, and they’re suuuuper stretchy. They are almost swimsuit material and thicker than I thought they would be. I like the second set because they feel more like cotton, which I prefer, and I like how long they are and how they bell out at the bottom; however as soon as a little milk gets on them it’s extremely obvious (not so much with the black, but the blue is bad.) Full disclosure I wear these with no bra and just stick boob soakers in the shirts, because even while breastfeeding I’m not that large, so I don’t need a lot of support, and my bra size is currently 36 D maybe.

Another option could be these nursing tops- I don’t usually use a cover but I do highly recommend this shirt. They have a flap of fabric on the top that you lift up and then once baby is latched the fabric kind of hangs down and covers my boob. Like pretty much everything is covered and it’s very discrete- at this point I can unclip the nursing bra and get LO on there all sort of under this top layer. And you can also wear them with a cardigan and that can also kind of drape to cover any possible side boob. I have this three pack of the sleeveless and the short sleeve version. They are nothing fancy but have pretty much been my breastfeeding uniform for just over a year now.

I found so many cute shutter shirts on Amazon that were fairly cheap. Super cute and perfect for a dressier look:

As for home I live in target nursing tops! I also love the two shirt method. A regular shirt with a light tank top underneath. Pull up regular shirt, pull down tank top and pop baby on there!

I love these.

I have like....9. I bought a bunch of other tops too but I always went back to these bc the ruffles cover enough that I don't have to wear a bra. And can't anyway bc it restricts my ducts and I get insta clogged.

If I two shirt, it's even more coverage. Love love.

I like [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Bearsland-Maternity-Sleeveless-Breastfeeding-lightgrayf/dp/B074LHHM35?ref_=ast_sto_dp) Tank top. I wear it with jeans and a sweater now that it’s getting cold. It had easy nursing access and is cute. I also like this I also wear it with a sweater and jeans (Are you sending a theme yet?) I’ve been struggling to fine professional looking nursing tops for when I return to work, but I figure these two will do okay with a blazer.

Good luck!

Don’t worry you will definitely “pop out” and it will be obvious you’re pregnant. Until then you could always wear maternity shirts that say something about the baby in your belly.

These are great, even if you're not nursing. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079C9YLKC. They're somehow loose and comfortable but don't look loose and sloppy.

I love these because they open to the sides rather than lifting the shirt up. They are also very comfortable and I’m just layering with cardigans for winter.

u/cat_kirk · 2 pointsr/breastfeeding

i actually really like having nursing tops, especially in summer. i live in texas and i can't do the two shirt method for like 5-6 months out of the year. i really like these tanks , this tank, these for sleeping in, and these are ok. i think i'd rather get these if i end up getting more. i like the way the smallshow ones lift up as opposed to the motherhood maternity ones that are a side opening.

I just bought this to wear either on Halloween or at my toddler's birthday party, if that happens before then :)

First of all, bless you. Those first 6 weeks are rough, and I spent most of them online googling shit like "thrush symptoms" and "is nipple confusion real?" But you're on your second (I bow down) so you're probably not freaking out as much this time around (right? RIGHT??) For reference, my baby is about 4 month old right now.

I've found that button down shirts are best for pumping / going to work. I bought a few at Goodwill thinking that in 6 months time, I'd probably be a different size anyway. They are serving me well. Personally, I love this pumping "bra" which actually just attaches to your existing nursing bra. So at work, I close the door, unbutton my shirt, snap on the "bra" and hook up to the machine. Unbuttoning the shirt means I can easily put on the "bra" without getting fully naked.

For everyday/casual wear, there are 2 tops on amazon that I bought multiples of because they are easy to nurse in while staying pretty covered up. First, this V-neck tee also comes in round neck. I wore one while pregnant, and it got all stretched out, but I bought another since then, and both work very well. Easy access, and they're nice enough to wear to work under a cardigan. Second, this gathered neckline tank seems to be the same as this one. I have one from each brand. I LOVE this one. I removed the rushing elastic from the sides of one, but left them on the other. Either way, they look good. Really easy boob access, and so discrete that a friend of mine didn't realize my baby was eating. Also nice enough to wear to work.

Finally, these nursing tanks are my favorite. I wear them to sleep every night. I'm wearing one right now (whatever, I'll get dressed eventually). The built-in shelf bra holds my nursing pads securely, but isn't too tight or constricting at all. It's probably not what you'd wear to work (unless you wore it under something), but it's ideal for at home. Plus, they dry quickly, and wash well. Although these ones I hang to dry rather than toss in the dryer.

Jumping on board for Amazon! I love the tops I’ve gotten there.

I have this top pink and just today bought it in a bunch more colors, including a festive “Santa baby” screen print, which I think will be my Christmas PJ top. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077464HSK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dKCdAb9B81BD5

The details include measurements for the bust, length and sleeve length for each size. For reference, I’m 5’8” ish, and about 192lbs right now, at 5 months prego. The large fits me well, and I think it will continue to fit for my whole pregnancy, thanks to the side rouching.

Liu & Qu Womens Maternity Classic... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CKY9HVH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I personally avoid low cut vnecks and scoop necks as well and did not think that these were too low, I didn't have a gap when I bent over or anything. I'm a nurse and felt comfortable to bend over a patient and not be exposed. But everyone is different. Amazon returns are easy though, especially if you have a kohl's that takes them!

u/HowManyLurks · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

I ordered a nursing hoodie on amazon and I love it. I can nurse him anywhere and people can't even tell. Plus, I don't have to take any layers off which is great in the cold.

This is the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M27931I/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_JDlEAbM4PTHQN

I bought this: Hello Miz Maternity Asymmetrical Wrap Overlay Nursing Breastfeeding Top (X-LARGE, Black/Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LDFYTFM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_v3bUzbD729TDF

It's super long but the sleeves are shorter than what's in the picture. I'm not too concerned about being fashionable while breastfeeding so I'm keeping it. Depending on how it works out I may buy it in a smaller size in a different color so I have options.

these have been pretty comfortable for me. There are cuter ones but these with leggings worked fine for me when my daughter was a newborn last winter.
