So a couple of the usual things: If you're using a reference photo of some sort, it helps us if you provide a link. And if you're not drawing from life or from some sort of reference, odds are pretty good you still should be.

With that out of the way...

The first thing I do when someone posts a drawing at an angle like this is to turn it so it's vertical; that makes problems with it much easier to pinpoint.

Two things that jump out at me right off the bat are the eye and the neck. Eyes seen in profile have a distinctive shape, like you can see here, and when seen in profile and with the person looking forward, the iris becomes just a sliver on the front of the eyeball.

Note also the neck in that photo I linked to. It's not just a vertical meat cylinder; the head projects forward from the body. Here is another, more clearly lit example that shows this.

Your ear is a bit of a mess. Ears look complicated, but broken down into components they make a lot more sense. Focus on the three main parts - the outer ridge (helix), the inner Y-shape (antihelix), and the lobe - and your ears will start to look more like actual ears.

I also urge you, same as I do anyone who's starting to draw heads, to take some time and study the skull. If you can get your hands on a skull model, even if it's just a small scale one like this, or an inexpensive actual-sized one. They're great to practice from because you look at them from any angle or light them however you want. Using a skull for practice is never a bad idea.

This thing + this thing will get you through anything a 3-day field problem can possibly throw at you.

P.S. Use the Surgilube in your IFAK so you don't get stuck or get a friction burn.

Saw some kid with a sealed visible woman set when I was at SA last week. How did I miss it?

Edit: changed to "visible" instead of invisible. Ugh, it was SEALED. I would have kept it for my own small collection.

> minitorso

From a Google search... https://www.amazon.com/Axis-Scientific-16-part-Mini-Torso/dp/B00KZO889Q

This isn't the minitorso I was looking for.

I bought a life size torso model on Amazon. It really helped. The vital organs can be removed. What's best, it is life size, I used to buy a miniaute one, it is just a toy. Here is where I bought it. Kind of expensive, but worths it.

Doing some math, if the box is about half full, then that's about 1.5 liters of bone by volume.

KZ should buy one of these and send it through a wood chipper:
