They can actually give you a little plastic thing that you put on the toilet in between the seat and the rim that’s like a bowl and they pee in it. I’m surprised they didn’t provide you one.

My bad just saw the age. In that case they are able to collect it at the pediatrician. There is a tiny thing they attach to her that looks just like a catheter it’s a tube with a wide opening where they stick it around her vagina. That way when she pees it goes into the tube and directly into a sample cup.

I don’t know why left you to deal with this on your own.

Urine sample container taken from the doctors office (unused) . It’s durable plastic, and as you can imagine, leaks absolutely no odor. Perfect size too. It is my top recommendation for this use.

I use this strainer (from Amazon). I keep it on top of the toilet stored in a round food storage container, filled up to the level of the strainer mesh with a water/ bleach mixture (to kill any germs). Here's a picture of what it looks like. The mesh sits in the water/ bleach and the top of the strainer sits on top of the lip of the storage container.

Can't you go into one container and split it out into the 12? I've never seen one need so many so I might be missing something but most samples I've done haven't required all that much.

I usually use something like this and then use the little spoon that's attached to each vials caps

I've been capping for years, using "00" capsules. The little tips I've learned:

1. Keep tapping the bottom until you can barley get a indentation. Then I leave a small mound over each of the holes and press.
   
   
2. Do the capping on a paper plate on top of a paper towel. Any spills you can easily bend the plate and pour it back into the container. You can re-use that same paper plate over and over.
   
   
3. As disgusting as it may sound, the best containers for Kratom is new clean urine sample containers. They are air tight, hold a lot, graduated, with the mouth the size of a bathroom paper cup and they are CHEAP!

4. Speaking of bathroom paper cups, yes, those are good for weighing out the Kratom. They are light, re-usable and those can also be bent to pour the Kratom onto the cap machine.
   
   
5. The only time I get ruined capsules is if the the capsule itself is faulty or has been exposed to too much moisture. I suggest putting the capsules in a zip lock bag along with a pouch of silica gel. That comes free with some capsule machines. That takes most of the moisture out of there.
   
   Usually I get the full 24 capsules when I cap. I hope this helps because capsule are far far far easier and you have more control over dosage than dealing with the taste. :-)

I think the trick would be not letting it get cold. There aren't normally proteins or anything easily damaged by heat in the urine though, so if you had to freeze it, I'd suggest warming and stirring it up as much as possible. Even better, pee into one of these:

They're the same kind used at clinics and hospitals, and they're sterile upon arrival. If you let rip into one of these each morning before work, you could take it with you and it would be perfectly fresh the whole day. That's how I would do it.
