I just snagged these $448 Rachel Comey mules for $47 because of Amazon's bizarre size-variable pricing! I have been lusting over Rachel Comey shoes for awhile now and the deal was too good to pass up. They're as comfortable as I could have ever hoped! I've also stalked a few Joe's Jeans blouses for under $30 that usually go for $150. You can't count on a deal, but it's fun when you can find one.

Okay, so here's the thing: shoe fit is very individual. What works in theory may or may not work for an individual, so you should either go together to get this, or buy from somewhere with a great return policy (Zappos is good, if you've got prime Amazon is pretty nice). I've tried on loads of shoes which would be great for someone, but that someone isn't me.

That said, there are obviously other shoes that might be a good idea to look into. Dansko Olivia, Oksana, and Olena work for a lot of people and are very cute. Most people speak well of Dansko for both comfort and durability. Naot Kirei also works for a lot of different people, and is crazy comfortable. I've had a Naot shoe with that sole and footbed that's lasted me 6 years as my primary shoe, so I'd vouch for its durability. A lot of people also have good luck with Taos and Cobb Hill.

Excellent idea. No idea if anyone will see it bc downvotes, but I'll include some links at the bottom. Amazon ships to HI, but the shipping charges to both Hawaii and Alaska tend to be a little inflated ime. In-store p/u should work (at least, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't). Wally World carries nonslips. I'm really not fussy, I just need to be able to work. I filled out my paperwork today, and they want to get me in by next week.

Dansko makes a similar shoe. I got them for an old retail job and now wear them several times a week to the office. They're called the Dansko Olivia: Dansko Women's Olivia Clog,Black Hair Calf,37 EU/6.5-7 M US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HZTBV6G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_BixKwbZW4ZJPZ

These clogs from Lotta A good friend of mine has them and she loves them (after rubbing the heel with olive oil to tinge the wood a bit differently/make them more water proof. Does anyone else have any experience with these shoes as far as sizing, durability, etc?

I think sanita clogs are vegan? I'm not sure, it's not something I've ever researched, but that's what Google tells me. I've known quite a few nurses to wear those.

I'm not sure if all their shoes are, but it says these are.

I work in a casual office, and I'm also a full time student at a state school. I normally wear jeans and a t shirt that I can dress up or down depending on my school schedule and clients.
I wear plain, dark wash jeans and plain vnecks or striped shirts. These basics are really easy to throw a colorful cardigan over, or conservative blazer. For me though, I focus a lot on my shoes. I generally wear nice mules, Oxfords, or pointy flats. I feel like it makes me look a lot more put together.
My current favorite:

In summer I live in skater style dresses that once again, plain and easily dressed up or down. Like this one from Lulus.

I live in clogs/mules during the summer, there are some that can be quite frumpy looking, but [some] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B3RLFVG/ref=twister_B01DMZTI8Y) are really cute and the open heel keeps my feet cool even in the Minnesota heat. DSW has a huge selection of clogs and mules as well

These from Oasis might fit the bill! Or these from Macy's if you're not married to them being suede. And a here's a couple of options from Amazon. New Look have this sandal-like version too.

Clogs all the way. I use them for biking, for work, for going around town, pretty much everything as weather permits. I look for some sleeker shapes than the classic Dansko clog, such as this, this, or this one.

These clogs. I see lots of cool hip brooklyn types wearing them and I think they'd go with my desired aesthetic, but I'm concerned they're not as comfortable as they look.

For context, I walk a lot. Like 4 miles a day just going to-from work. I don't like switching between "commuting" shoes like sneakers into cuter work shoes.

the shoes! reviews say they run small but i ordered my regular shoe size and they're perfect

u/orata · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

I have been wearing these clogs around the house as slippers and occasionally out when it's warm enough--can't wait till I can wear them out regularly.

I have these mules I bought used last year too that I want to wear again when it's warm enough!

I bought these Sam Edelman backless loafers on Amazon a few weeks ago and adore them! I sized up after reading some reviews and they're perfect. I take the train to and from work and do a lot of walking and have no complaints.

You know best what works for your body in terms of comfort and appearance. If jeans work for you, then pair them with tops that have feminine details- lace, ruching, gathers/ruffles, pleats, and bow tied blouses <3. Also showing a bit of skin doesn't have to be legs or breasts, it can also be a low back or a cut out. Velvet chokers are supercute and will go with almost any outfit.

Simple complimentary makeup is pretty and hair makes a huuuuge difference. Also, since it's summer, get a couple of cute sandals. I recently got these they have alot of support and I love the retro European vibe they possess (hint: they are 1/3 of the price on ebay;).

Thank you! I didn't even think about why I liked the bare ankles. yes, from Patagonia.

u/pie-face · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

These are very comfortable!
