I'm particularly proud of this because I'm notorious for starting craft projects and NEVER FINISHING THEM. 😂 This was just a cheap kit from AC Moore, but it was a lot of fun!
EDIT: this is the kit for anyone who wants it https://www.amazon.com/Mini-Maker-Neon-Mandala-Kit/dp/B07QHYW5XZ
Thank you!! 😘
I got them on Amazon- Celley Embroidery Hoops, Oval Imitated Wood Design, 7.1 X 9.8 Inches, 3 Pcs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PS93TZF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_7NDlDbAX3ZTR5
I just rotated the outer ring to align for a horizontal hanging.

It was actually pre stamped, but the cloth it came with was so bad, I thought I would use the opportunity to convert to 20ct Aida.

Thank you!! Yup, I absolutely did. I found these needles that helped me out a lot though: 17 Pieces Yarn Needle... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TMYBWPL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Yeah, i think they'd look cute on a tree! I've got them from UK amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pieces-Punched-Stitch-Embroidery-Crafts/dp/B07S4816Y8/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?keywords=Mini+embroidery+hoop&qid=1571605092&sr=8-6
This is a pattern you can grab off Amazon. It’s by Zamtac — https://www.amazon.com/Zamtac-Needlework-Embroidery-14CTPrinted-Cross-Stitching/dp/B07RTP976Y
This is what I got. I feel I've got the most benign product of all.

Thank you! I bought this kit on Amazon and I really liked it. My only complaint is the stamped pattern lines are a little thick so you have to be careful to cover them. Also, there is a very helpful video on the listing that shows how to do the different witches.
This is a kit I got off of amazon, so the included instructions told me how many stands of the included thread to use for each part! this is what I got!
Here it is, if you want to put it on your wishlist! It comes with all the wool (Extra even, I have leftover even after messing up and starting over many many many times), some stuffing to make the body making quicker, 3 needles that love your finger smore than the wool, and a guide that has a QR code that takes you right to their tutorial video.
Yes!
Mini Maker Wildflowers Spring Bloom Kit: 11 Piece Embroidery Project (kit, Embroidery, DIY, Flowers, Spring, Hoop, Mini Maker) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QGXK7XR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_s4.NDb3F46DJ3
I ordered this starter kit from Amazon and it's been perfect for me. Has everything you need except for the patterns.
Embroidery Starter Kit,100 Color Threads,5 PCS Bamboo Embroidery Hoops,2 PCS 11.8 inches Aida Cloth, and Cross Stitch Embroidery Needle Point Kit Beginner Supplies https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PMVCNM2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4e-BDbWP46NZA
I also downloaded a few simple patterns I liked from Etsy, and the kind of patterns I want to do don't require exact color matching (words and borders versus something that looks like a painting)
For $30 total I'm off to start and can be occupied for many months.
I’ve so been there. I find taping my hoop really only beneficial for protecting the fabric if it’s delicate. Buy one/some of these in what ever size you need... the links are for various sizes, but the brands are good.
