No, mine is not sitting on the floor, as it causes the problem you described. To get this scenario to work properly, you need to place the water sensor on something that makes the water pool up under the sensor, but also continually drains the water from under it at the same time. Mine is sitting on a bath stool like similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/WELLAND-2-Tier-Corner-Shelf-Bath-Storage/dp/B01DP5PHFY/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1551008336&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=teakwood%2Bshower%2Bbench&th=1

So, when I turn the shower on, it takes between 10 seconds and 1 minutes for the water to pool up under the sensor. It usually happens around the 20 second mark. As the shower keeps running, the water keeps pooling up under the sensor keeping it wet. When the shower is turned off, then the water drains through the wood itself, and through the slats on the bench, causing the contacts under the water sensor to dry. In my scenario, it takes between 30 seconds to 3 minutes for this to happen, depending on how long I take a shower. I've been using it like this since last decemeber and it's 100% reliable. So, place the water sensor on something else that forces the water to continually drain from under it. I have also experimented with placing the sensor in a plastic dish, that I poked holes into, which also makes the water continually drain as well, and that also works.

I also use the water sensor to turn keep the lights in the bathroom on at night as well when I take a shower. I have a motion sensor in the bathroom that turns the light on, if it's dark. When I'm in the shower, the motion detector can't pick my motion, as I'm behind a glass door, so the light turns off. So, I added the water sensor to the motion sensor automation such that the light does not turn off until the motion sensor senses no motion and the water senser is dry. The water sensor will also turn on the bathroom light when it gets wet, if for some reason, the motion sensor does not turn it on immediately.

Lastly, the water sensor also turns on my bathroom fan as well, when it gets wet and turn off 2 hours later.

This is the one we have. It's a reproduction off Amazon. Doesn't look like they have a black option left but when I bought it, it was around $700. It's great quality. Have been pretty happy so far. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00S8ZM3DQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_3Rv.ybB2BSZKC

The perfect bed? A porch swing bed. This would be HEAVEN to sleep outside listening to rain or feeling the sunshine on me.

Bedtime snacks you say? I may be weird, but my all time favorite snack before bed is a bowl of cereal..

I have wayyy too many PJ sets. I found some amazingly cute tea themed pajamas.

I may be 25 but darkness at night can be creepy! This lantern nightlight would do just the trick.

Maybe a weird choice, but a Taggies blanket. My cousin's baby was very texture oriented and would rub a blanket or toy until she fell asleep. If she didn't like the texture, she'd keep crying. We got her a Taggie blanket and she always rubbed it as she fell asleep.

This stuffed elephant looks so soft!

She used to say she could taste sleep and that it was as delicious as a BLT on fresh French bread

Like... like a lawn chair?

https://www.amazon.com/Deluxe-Padded-Gravity-Chair-Canopy/dp/B00LRMZMEY

Hmmm... that seems patently ridiculous... I must go to Lowe's for research...

Not really the best mini for havung backseat passengers. (Thats the hole reason i bought a clubman!)

Id recommend getting one of tjoose cusshions that people tie to plastic chairs in events. The ones with two little stings on the back.

http://www.amazon.com/Indoor-Outdoor-Square-Universal-Cushion/dp/B00VGIUM0S

Get it upholsteeed in black leather or cloth, and sew a MINI badge on it. It would look factory. Then tie one to the two anchor hooks on the bottom of each seat.

It would be the only option without having to re-do the seats with a foam/spring core, memory foamed topped.

Ooh, I think I'm going to be looking around on Mundo de Unas site for awhile!

As far as Mario stamps go, there's a Mario and Luigi on a Moyou plate. I haven't tried any Moyou plates yet, but I've heard so many good things! There's also a FUN plate somewhere out there that has a bunch of Mario symbols, but I haven't gotten my hands on it.

We have a similarly narrow balcony, though not quite as long (about 20 feet), and also south facing. Took forever to figure out what we wanted to do with it as most patio furniture is too wide to allow clearance space. We ended up installing this bar table set in the center:

https://www.amazon.com/MIYU-Furniture-3-piece-Balcony-Bar/dp/B00HY5HYDA

... I can't say enough good things about this set. It's quite heavy and you anchor it on to the balcony railings. We get a ton of wind as our condo is on the top floor. This set does not budge. It also hasn't rusted or anything and still looks as good as new. The stools tuck underneath when not in use and there's plenty of clearance for people to walk behind. If our balcony was longer like yours, we might've installed multiple sets.

Then on the ends of the balcony we got two large Huron chairs with footrests from West Elm:
https://www.westelm.com/products/huron-chair-h019/?catalogId=71&sku=5683420&cm_ven=PLA&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Outdoor%20%3E%20Outdoor%20Lounge%20Furniture%20%3E%20Chairs&na_id=2017031818325831339264129631&kwid=productads-adid^215320075618-device^c-plaid^347330542229-sku^5683420-adType^PLA&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6baKjtvk2QIVR7bACh3WkAaREAYYASABEgLW4_D_BwE&cm_ite=[[PLA]%20-%20Good%20Desktop]

Hubby's faces the sunset and mine faces the city view. We put these at the balcony ends as they take up all the 3'11" space and allow no clearance.

Note if you like these chairs, Target and I think some other places offer a much cheaper knock-off of the small version of the West Elm chair. We wanted the larger chairs so we splurged.

Between the pub stools, chairs, and foot rests we can seat 6 people comfortably.

No plants and flowers because we get too much wind for that. To address the sun issue (it's lovely but can get too hot to sit out there) we got some sun umbrellas -- the kind that can attach to the back of a chair and that have articulating arms so you can move them throughout the day as the sun moves. We had looked at other options but this was a simple inexpensive and practical solution. As well as flexible, as we can also attach the umbrellas to the balcony railing if we are sitting at the bar table and want shade there. We can also take them down when the wind is kicking up. And meets HOA requirements (no permanent structures on the decks).

We considered many other options like futons and lounge chairs and bistro sets or a hammock (HOA wouldn't allow that) but ultimately the 3'11" width was the challenge. Measure everything you are considering and think hard about clearance space.

Here is the one I have. mine
My moms have the strings that hold the mesh to the frame and are replaceable for more BIFL. Not sure if the newer style like mine are replaceable but they don't stretch out much at all like my moms.

Then you shouldn't have any problems. You will have to hire an electrician to tie the system into the grid, but you can do most of the mounting yourself or hire a handyman/contractor. These systems have gotten very popular and they come with everything. Back in the late nineties, when I was selling off-grid solar, they were just starting to come out with grid tie-in kits, and they were like 20K. I just found this one on Amazon, that looks good for 5K. edit: a lot of the comments on this thread make solar sound like rocket science, and that you need a special kind of expert to do the install. It is my experience that most decent electricians should be able to hook you up with an install, especially if you buy a kit. It's not rocket science.

carpet looks dope in that room.

Depending on how much room you have, a bench or hope chest with a cushion at the bottom of the bed on top to sit on.

I would consider floating end tables in white and a mounted light source, and thin black framed picture frames with lots of whitespace for the walls.

For bedding I would go with a pattern that picks up on colors in the floor and accent with pillows that have a bit of red in them and finding art that compliments them for the art mentioned above.

It also appears that you have enough wall space to pull something the black tree wall treatment here.

I used to have a manasan loveseat https://www.amazon.com/Blazing-Needles-Double-Papasan-Cushion/dp/B00EFA9GHY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=Mamasan+Chair&qid=1574109328&sr=8-1 waayyy before I began vanlife. It was an absolute dream to sleep in 🌃 When I was in my vanlife planning phase, my build included one. Then I bought George & will probably be keeping his rear folding sofa/bench seat

Best Choice Products 2-Person Double Wide Folding Zero Gravity Chair Patio Lounger w/Cup Holders -Beige https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WY7BVYG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2B7PCbKVZRTVQ

I bought a zero gravity chair to use inside for recovery from surgery for a torn hip labrum. We love it so much that we are getting rid of our recliners(which take up too much space in our small house) and replacing them with zero gravity chairs. We can fold them up when we need extra space or take them outside for dual use.

Put a patio swing like this on it. They come in different sizes so I'm sure with a bit of research you could find one that fits. Maybe put a decorative outdoor rug underneath it to make it a bit prettier. Then fill the are around it with potted plants and some stepping stones leading to the main walkway.

u/DrunkHouseWife · 1 pointr/massage

I would consider something like this PODillow Face Down Beach Pillow https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DPG7B3A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_3eBpzbEC1YBE6

I've purchased a number of used massage tables over the years. One is a $600 table that I found at a pawn shop for $80. So, I get that you're just looking for a way to make your recipient more comfortable without making any major investments - a used massage table can be surprisingly affordable, more comfortable for your recipient and far more comfortable for you as you can set it to a height that allows you to stand and lean comfortably without overworking your back, legs or shoulders. Good luck!
