If you're racking it lower than a dime's radius from the center of the foot spot, that's unsportsmanlike.

That's why the spots have the white dot on them. The head ball needs to be touching the white area.

I'd say look up ways to clean pool table felt. On our table I just use a small handheld vacuum to get most of the little crumbs/stuff off.

If you have a stain you can use a pool table felt cleaner:

Yeah, for sure I loved it. But the price tag says forget it. It will cost you $7,995.

Even though non slate is trash. Would the table really warp in a room that's not a basement and isn't really being played on much? I'm talking like 1 game every 1-2 weeks.

What do you guys think of this slate table for $1300 with free assembly.

$1300 is my budget right now. I can't buy one put together already on CL, and i'm not someone that's going to be playing pool constantly. I just wanted something else to add to my house in a spare bedroom.

The pool hall owner at my favorite local hall offers the service. It's about 500 for the move and reassemble. The felt only costs $300 and a professional can probably beat that price.

I found this subreddit after identifying a project I could try and do myself so I don't even know where to start. Please forgive my naiveté. I'm looking to restore/create leather drop pockets for a special pool table that's been in my family for 30 years and I'd like to update it. Currently I have plastic pockets just resting on top of the irons, but the proper setup would to have the pocket irons wrapped in leather with a drop netted pocket and a couple facings on either side. I took some pictures of my current setup (no leather) and a setup I saw at a local store. I'd like to replicate the store version:

The one in the store felt very stiff and I'm not even sure if that's real or fake leather. I'm guessing I'll need to glue some leather on top, rivet or snap the nets in place and sew some facings on. Can someone help me out with what types of leather and tools I'd need to tackle this project on my own? I'm starting to see that "tooling" leather is thicker than some stuff I would use to wrap certain objects so I have no idea what types of leather to buy. I can buy the nets myself if that's difficult to DIY from here but full replacements including the irons are pretty expensive to just buy a replacement set as you can see here.

This company seems to be the ones that did the restorations for classic billiards in the previous link and have some more pictures of the process. After the basics, I'd like to attempt doing my own "carving/tooling" of the eagle logo, but I'd like to know what that would entail as well like this photo

Third this opinion- find a cheap table on craigslist (less than $400 tops) and rent a uhaul/grab a friend with a pickup truck.

Beats the construction costs of a sun room (which I would personally do, as a custom Pool Room sounds awesome).

Alternatively, here is a cheap table on amazon that probably wouldn't suck compared to not having a table: https://www.amazon.com/Hathaway-Fairmont-Portable-Families-Folding/dp/B015AHRE9C?ref_=Oct_BSellerC_3397171_1&pf_rd_p=38583c84-912a-5460-a9d3-35858c78a9bf&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-6&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=3397171&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=4TT0PAXG82632TT59GRQ&pf_rd_r=4TT0PAXG82632TT59GRQ&pf_rd_p=38583c84-912a-5460-a9d3-35858c78a9bf

I started working at a new office in December, right before Christmas. The corporation is internationally huge and my office has hundreds of employees, but my team has about 15-20 people. We did a yankee swap with the entire office and everyone went wild for the mini game sets, like mini basketball hoop, mini football, mini pool table, mini air hockey, etc. Those were the gifts everyone (especially my team) battled for. Definitely cemented the idea in my head forever more, I know what I’m doing next year.

Along the lines of this and this
