I drink this stuff after every workout. With water it is chuggable (but has a bit of a metallic aftertaste). With milk it tastes pretty good. In a shake with milk, a frozen banana, ice cubes, and some peanut butter it is delicious!
I am using Animal Nitro (https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Nutrition-Animal-Supplement-44-Count/dp/B000GOX2KU?th=1) for recovery, along with their vitamins (PAK). I used to use their FLEX stuff for joint mobility, but decided to fall back to my regular joint supplement, which is just ~15g of gelatin every day (it also helps with skin if you are doing a lot of newaza and you use your head as a fifth limb, like I do).
Calcium Citrate - 2 pills a day
Metabolol 2 - 1 scoop in a glass of water only after resistance training
Nutrigrain - 1 a day to make sure I get enough sugars
FiberOne - One bar a day
LOL totally.
Actually my favorite product for post workout recovery is Endurox R4.

Not only does it taste amazing, but it WORKS.
I train MMA, BJJ, and I also lift and do yoga and this stuff makes a noticeable difference if I get it in my system within 20-30 minutes after a hard workout. Especially now that I'm in my mid 30s, post workout recovery is a big deal for me now....I just don't recover in a few hours like I used to in my 20s.
