I recommend a hardboot skate like the Seba FRX or Rollerblade twister. Hardboot skates are more supportive and durable, and 80mm wheels are the standard choice for all around skating (larger speed skate wheels are harder to balance, and smaller trick style wheels are too slow for traveling). Both of those are solid beginner skate choices.

You can get one here for much cheaper.

Largest boot I know of is the Rollerblade RB XL that goes up to size 17.5. Maybe you could squeeze in? Rollerblade Men's RBXL Fitness Skate, Black/Red, Men's US 17.5 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006ZQHIOE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_l8ZLBb7NH1WR1

Okay so,

Figuring out the sizing has been interesting lol. Being a size 11 foot sure as hell doesnt help.

  1. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071X2Q2KD/ref=crt_ewc_img_olp_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3H8ADXOCP7JIK
    - Has some cool reviews about it. Price is great. Color looks beautiful. Sizing ima have to go 1.5 bigger unless I find it else where. Looks very durable and comfortable, the vented boots is nice considering I live in the Nevada heat; any cooling helps! Comes with 85A Wheels, rail is removable and interchangeable with other styles/setups. $230. Available via Prime; so could return if the big size is a problem

  2. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F0XRVX0/ref=crt_ewc_img_dp_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3H8ADXOCP7JIK

    - Believe this is a newer model then the F6, for $30 more with a similar style as the F6; and also has a raving
review; I would be wiling to test them out. beautiful design. Has my sizes. $250. Not prime eligible. So sizing
would have to hopefully be right.

  3. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GBVYN6N/ref=crt_ewc_img_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AI3ODVS58VYZ2

    - Seems to be built by a company that really put time and effort into the blades. Seems very well made. has a
great design. some cool color options to choose from. its the most expensive of all the setups at $279. (lol,
just realized the logo looked familiar, same company that made my boots. the dude they use on amazon
listing was same dude on my box for blades lol. was wondering what felt familiar about this item.). 85A
wheels. interchangeable setup. they have my "size" but they claim to run a bit small. and they dont have a
size bigger then what I would "need". This does look like a great setup. Not prime eligible.

So these are the three options.

    What do we think fellas?

Personally i think you should treat yourself to these skates they are high priority for you and you deserve them. I know it is over $50 but if you decide to buy them, I will pay the difference as a birthday gift to you :)

[General] I'm a 30/yo female and I just picked up these from amazon for specifically blading on a local wood floored rink (really nice place, Semoran Skateway in Orlando) but they have a black brake on one side, which isn't allowed in the rink because it will mark the floor. Not sure if that is common.

I was able to use an alan wrench to remove the brake, but the rivets are the kind that were not meant to be removed, and now my last wheel is just off on one skate. How can I replace the rivet if I can't find the information about what they are? There's not a lot if information available on the skate itself or the website and I am pretty new so I don't even know if I am looking at the right place or what the info I need is even called, or if my terminology is off.

I can create a video to show you what I mean as well if that would help. Thanks in advance!

I started with the same skates.
They are heavily discounted in some places now because they have been out of production since 2015.

> and I actually bought K2 wheels last year so maybe ill just get some bearings

If the wheels have not been used, or have been used but are not worn too much, they should be fine.
