I was thinking of this as well. Amazon has a lot of options in cool designs - just the quickest one I saw here would be for a child.

Maybe a small insulated bag, like this?

Nice! It's very similar. I should add it comes in different colors too but I like the gray one the best. The blue one is only $9.99 off Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HHWB7Z3/

So after a lack of great options given I went searching for a better cooler option. I found two that I’m very happy with. Both on amazon prime; both less than $16.

On the left is an insulated soft cooler by Mier. I can easily fit 6 full size shakers upright in it without cramming. I also was able to fit 5 standard height Rubbermaid Takealongs and two shakers. Both options had room for some ice packs. There large mesh pockets on either side large enough for a 40oz hydro flask, a zippered front pocket, and an internal lid flat pocket. This seems ideal for a quick trip or couples day away.

On the Right is a smaller insulated soft cooler by Amersun. It easily holds two full-size shakers upright with room to spare. A third shaker was a bit too much for it, however clearly enough room for a ice pack and small snack. Designed to be kept upright, it does not easily tip when fully loaded and slips nicely into my backpack for walking. It also has a sling strap for carrying

Buy a large instapot or two. This is a excellent week to pick them up.

Searching "instapot recipes" will give you tons of recipes to try. This will cook your main course of chicken/beef/pork, you add spices for Italian/Mexican/what-have-you-style for the recipe you liked, and then you just need to add sides, bread, and drinks.

Also a plus: If the recipe calls for "natural release", you can set the timer to cook at home the night before. When you swing by after work, just put a couple of pieces of painter's tape to keep the lid locked in place during your drive, and you're better than DoorDash, delivering home cooked hot food to the lodge.

Also pick up a couple Thermal Carriers like https://www.amazon.com/Lifewit-Insulated-Casserole-Carrier-Thermal/dp/B07BFWJPV5 Searching on "pan recipes" and "sheet pan recipes" will give you a whole differed list of other recipes to try.

These also allow cooking at home and delivering it hot.

You can also search recipes by ingredients. It is generally cheaper to walk into the grocery, see what's on sale, and search for recipes on your phone with the ingredients on sale until you find one that you like and bookmark it, than it is to plan the meal first, then be locked into those ingredients when you go shop, no matter how high the price.

Up to 25, it's easier to cook at home and deliver to the lodge hot. Because your home refrigerator is full of backup options. Cooking at the lodge, you're wasting time with a second shopping run mid-prep to catch the thing you missed. Cooking at home, you almost always already have that extra egg or missing spice.

Flan in the instapot is also easy. Buy the $10 pan off amazon, cook in advance, and let it sit in the fridge chilling overnight. If you have a larger crowd, buy multiple pans. They process fast in the instapot one after another, the time consuming part is chilling in the fridge to set afterwards. Best done a day or two in advance.

Use your camera phone to take pictures of the shopping receipts at the grocery store right at check out as the cashier hands it to you. Keeping track of your expenses is hard, and losing receipts sucks.

I used a somewhat insulated lunchbox but it’s a cheap one, they definitely make better ones. I’ve had meals in mine for 5+ hours and it was still cold. You need to get ice packs to put in the lunchbox with your meals so it stays cold longer. Something similar to the below should work fine. The more ice packs you use the longer it’ll stay cold

I have this one (it was on sale when I bought it, thankfully), it has a lot of compartments and I usually bring 4 12oz meal prep containers in the bottom and my fruit on top. I use ice packs in it and it seems to keep everything really cold. I also bought cheap meal prep containers on amazon, I'm bringing a ton of containers myself but at least they all fit in my bag easily.

Best to keep stuff out of sight and even better in some type of smell proof bag. I got a basic Amazon lunch cooler type bag (something like this), and I haul a bunch of my flower, dabs and vaping devices back and forth between office and home. This cooler type bag also helps with the concentrates during the summer heat too! It's not totally smell proof, but with stuff inside also sealed, it works well.

Try and avoid it being brought up at all during a stop. If it is brought up, shut the fuck up...if you must say something, say it's been over 4 hours since you last even touched it. Less you say, less chance to incriminate yourself. Also important to have all your papers in check (insurance card, car registration, license) to avoid further inquiry. AND never consent to searches. If it gets to that point be vocally against it, be adamant...if they end up searching your car it's because they forced themselves against your will/permission.

Yes! Sneaky feets! Annnd we can use something like this or this to carry our goodies away!

Node 202 would probably fit the bill for a regular backpack. I was going to get one of these for my SG13, which is my preferred case.

I’ve seen that one and it’s ok, but that square shape is odd it’s like a tool box. I’m looking for a one that’s more vertical but not that:

Because it will force my food to be flipped.

I love my neoprene bag with a shoulder strap. It’s durable and stretchy to fit odd sized containers and has a zipper pocket for my headphones and backup OT snacks.

I have this one:

I have this neoprene sack one. Its been good for the last few years but I have to jam stuff in some days if I use more than one container.

Im looking to upgrade to something like this with two levels. The bottom is a hardshell cooler space.
