If you are in the USA:

Basically you need a fire-proof rechaud burner made out of metal or heat-resistant glass with a large enough bowl for the liquid. Something that is used for fondue might work. On top of that goes a holder for the sugar cone. You can fashion your own holder for the sugar cone out of metal instruments, I would probably use something like this as a base:

Make sure the tongs don't have plastic parts or you will melt the plastic into the bowl along with the sugar.

Don't know if you already got one but a parabolic mic is an awesome addition for field recording. I build budget one out of this poly-carb bowl that ended up being the perfect size for sound quality and portability. You just need to add a handle by drilling a hole in it (apply very little presure and it won't crack or chip) and using a long bolt and nut to secure it. Then find the right positioning of your mic(s) using the left over bolt length to mount them and you can acheive some amazing clarity at crazy distances (75-150ft depending on wind conditions). Also really good for capturing sound from insects and animals, I was able to quite loudly tune in on a bee from 10+ft and up close the detail was crazy. I used a Lom label Uši stereo microphone inside the bowl and just roughed the distance from bowl till I got what i was looking for. With proper engineering you could totally fine tune your mic placement.

What you have there is a ripoff.

A normal pot on the stove is fine, doesn't make a bit of a difference. The spaetzle maker would probably work fine, provided the sugarloaf doesn't fall off.

After the sugar has completely melted I remove the Feuerzange and use a mesh strainer to remove the citrus slices and cinnamon sticks from the pot.

Hopefully by getting diagnosed you can avoid any symptoms that you may have been suffering from, and you can begin to live your life with a renewed purpose. So in that sense, congratulations.

If I were you, whenever I went to a venue-stadium or something that either allowed food to be bought in or not, I would travel with this, and the utensil of your choice. You could order a cheese steak or a turkey sandwich, or even a vegetable shish-kabob, and tell the maker to just put it in your bowl, without any bread. Eat and enjoy yourself.

I eat out a wood bowl all the time, with one of these, and it’s fun.

edit; and you don’t have to go around telling people you have a disease if you don’t want to, just tell people that you can’t eat bread. What they don’t fuckin know wont hurt em.

I've done a few boards, and to finish I've used this stuff: http://www.amazon.com/GF-Salad-Bowl-Finish-Pint/dp/B001DSXD52/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417830168&sr=8-1&keywords=food+safe+varnish

I mix that half and half with food-safe mineral spirits and let it soak through the board. 3-4 coats. It's given good results so far. Mostly copying off this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m08XLrcaXWk He explains the choices in detail toward the end of the video too.

I'm not sure about the black spots.

6.5 weeks is a bit young, IMO. Breeders should be keeping them until 8 weeks to make sure they're eating on their own, not making you make sure...gah.

That bowl looks kinda tall. These bowls are nicely sized, and you don't have to worry about Chinese glaze that may or may not contain toxics (the pet bowls imported aren't inspected for safety as things meant for human consumption are, like lead):

Ok, at the creator's go-ahead, I'll bite. Let's get this roast going. I hope I'm not too punishing.

  • The product name differs between the title and the summary
  • I'd be afraid to buy stained-wood kitchenware in general, especially handmade. Vegetable oils can cause stain to leech out of wood. There are food-safe stains.
  • Nothing here really shows that heating food is a good alternative to salts and fats. If I had the choice between a piece of hot, dry toast and cold, buttered toast, I'd choose the latter.
  • If this thing were to be mass-produced (in wood) the FDA would stomp it out pretty quickly, probably for a number of reasons I don't understand as well as the stain thing.

    My suggestions:

  • Consider making a two-chamber design where you can pour warm water in, instead of plugging it in. It's faster, safer, and requires fewer parts.
  • Have a manufacturable design. Handbuilt wooden boxes are not scalable. You may need to call in a favor, but having a real design drawn up in CAD will pay for itself in the long run.
  • Talk to a small-run plastics manufacturer. A local one for me is Protolabs. You can get just one or two parts made in a relatively cheap mold, and they'll save the tooling for when you're ready to go full-scale.
  • Once you've done the above 2 things, start a real campaign with the prototypes and a more realistic funding goal for full production.

mine is something like this, with the servers, and its awesome. we use it at least once a week and its great. we put everything in, including dressing, and its easy to then split between two people and everything feels evenly dispersed

NOT dishwasher safe, but the 1 minute it takes to clean it in the sink is worth it

So what about stuff like these? Not oak, but still wooden, and these are dishwasher safe. Seen them in a number of restaurants too, so it can't be that uncommon.
