Probably bias tape, on most onesies it is made out of a slightly thicker ribbed jersey but you might be able to do it with the same fabric. You can use one of these to make your own, here is a tute to make it without the guide but I love using the guides. They're nifty gadgets.
2 is $1.23
4 is $4.22
6 is $5.90
8 is $7.99
I found a 1/2" if that helps at all.
Awesome!!
I forgot to mention the one we used is not cotton twill tape though. It is a polyester heavyweight twill tape. Not sure if that matters or not but figured I should mention it.

I've been meaning to buy a bias tape maker (not the fancy machine, just the little thing you use with your iron). Seems like everything I've made lately has needed bias tape, and I haaaaate making it by hand (or trying to find premade stuff that matches).
You can always cut it a bit longer than you think you need and fold the hem a bit higher so you have some extra to play with!
If you really accidentally cut off way too much, you can sew on a hem facing so the only length you lose is the seam allowance.
