DE blades must be disposed of in a safe container, like this one.

Do not dispose of your razor blades in an unprotected fashion! Sometimes people manually sift through recyclables/waste, and razors are not only sharp but also a biohazard.

Depending on where you live, you should be able to dispose of the container itself in the same facility where you dispose of other hazardous objects, like hypodermic needles.
