I quite like Salt Water Sandals but they may not be "formal" enough for what you're looking for. Good luck!

Best I could find but the age range is 4-8 so unless she's got small feet it ain't gonna cut it

That's all I could find. The jacket in the second photo should be easy to find in most stores, there are a lot of those types of jackets around at the moment. :)

I really like these sandals. I saw someone wearing them in Busch Gardens last week, and they looked adorable with her romper.

Has anyone ever tried SaltWater Sandals?

I'd love to help you out! In addition to some other gifts, I really want to buy your daughter those ugg boots she wants, but I would hate to see someone spend that much money for boots that will probably get ruined after a single season. In my experience, Bearpaws have been proven to be more weatherproof and cheaper than uggs. I've had my pair for about 5 years :) Here are a few links:

Classic Bearpaws

Tall ones

Sparkly ones :)

Please let me know which color, style and size she would like and I'd be more than happy to buy those for you in addition to some other items on your wishlist. If she really has her heart set on those uggs then I, unfortunately, can't afford to buy those for her, but I sincerely hope that someone else on this sub does. Happy Holidays!

I ended up buying my daughter size 10's and thick socks last year because they're so expensive for half sizes. Luckily little feet grow fast and this year she's comfortably fitting in a 12.

Edit-I found a pair on amazon, 1 2 3

Saltwater sandals. I know I like the look of them, but I have some questions.

  1. What is the ankle strap like? Is it comfy? I've never worn ankle strap shoes, and I'm apprehensive.

  2. Just in general, are they comfy? I mean, obvs they're flat, so there's only so much comfort they can provide, but beyond that. Is the leather soft or annoying? How long do they take to break in?

  3. Can you really get them wet? I want to replace my beater sandals with these, so that's kind of key. Also, how hard are they to clean if they get gross?

  4. Finally, is there another place I can buy them besides Amazon? Amazon Prime has failed me here :( Preferably free returns. It seems that Zappos only carries the children's sizes. EDIT 1: Okay, so it seems that the "big kid" sizes are kind of like adult sizes, so I can buy them on Zappos. New question: Is it true (as Amazon tells me) that a 6 in Big Kid sizes is an 8 in normal Women's sizes? EDIT 2: FML they're out of stock. OKAY. So old question: where can I buy these with free returns? Amazon only has them with paid shipping and Zappos is out of stock.

Stride right are hard-soled, but they're softer than most. They're probably the most flexible of the hard soles. Maybe try these for example. I used Stride Rite and Native brand shoes when I was getting my toddler used to shoes. And these are the Native shoes I've been using. They're very flexible.

They are normal functioning units. Lightspan is an educational game suite. One of the consoles had this game in it. I've already ran a bit of GTA: London on one.

I got mine on Amazon! I'm a 7.5 and ordered a US Big Kids sz 6 which translates to a women's size 8.

I have this one in tan though I'm not particularly fond of it.

There's nothing wrong with being prepared as a man. On any given day, my arsenal might include chapstick, sunblock, hand lotion, mints, condoms, moleskine, a good book, water bottle, protein bar, etc. That shit won't fit in my pockets, but it really comes in handy!

In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson.

1.) For this I choose a pencil box because when I was in grade school I collected pencil shavings mostly from colored pencils to do a craft project idea I had with them. Sad ending though, I never did get around to making the craft.

2.) I know this notebook would make me insanely jealous. I wasn't much of a note taker however so it would end up mostly filled with doodles :P

3.) I think any teacher would smile if they saw one of their students wearing this shirt

4.) YAY! Art class! I think with this I will be fully prepared!

5.) In my state (Washington) it rains a lot during the school year, so these fashionable rain boots are a must have for splashing around in the puddles!

6.) If I could pick my school's mascot, it would definitely be the blobfish because I don't think anybody else has him as a mascot yet. And of course because he's so cute!

7.) You would think a box of nerds candy this big should last the whole school year, but it's kids we're talking about here, come on.

8.) I have always been in love with the Shel Silverstein books such as Where The Sidewalk Ends. Also they rhyme and have silly drawings!

9.) There is no way to beat this amazing spectacular backpack any kid wearing this would be the most popular kid in school!

10.) Between homework and dinner, my favorite activity would be playing the Wii U with friends or family. It's a fun video game system that can also keep you up and active!

Bonus #1 - School newspaper?

We recently had a trip up to Canada and got these boots for my 17-month-old. They worked out well. We ordered a size up because he would be wearing bulkier pants than usual, but he was still able to walk in them just fine.

First off you have my sympathies, for your loss. And some internet hugs! I've never lost anyone so I can't say I understand, but I know it hurts and im sorry.

I included a bunch of things to represent what I think people might have on their wishlists. If I win Sort My Priorities and surprise me!

Japanese Candy kit I'm sure snacks are a big hit on peoples WLs. I want one of these specifically for my son.

Backpack/rucksack Classes are starting back up for many including me so these might be in high demand soon.

New Shoes Again classes are starting soon, if not for parents maybe for their kids. OR maybe people need new shoes to prepare for a climate change. I live in Indiana and weather is insane, so I try to always have boots and flats.

Seeds I have a ton of seeds on my WLs. They are usually cheap, and they make my yard pretty!

Thanks so much for hosting, and good luck everyone. I wish your Debit card super speed on its journey to you!
