Here’s a [purse] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075B4H5LV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YOg9AbNF8HNNH$) and a [backpack] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0727PY93Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_IPg9Ab4ZEEH6W)
Leather is going to be expensive, but if you’re willing to go faux, here are some alternatives!
Anne Klein Georgia Medium
Anne Klein Georgia Large
Urban Expressions Apollo
Apt 9 Abell
If you don't find any alternatives you like, and you have Amazon Prime, it's slightly cheaper there.
For your daughter, I think this Totoro sweater! I was gifted this one recently by /u/abby89 on another sub, and it's extremely comfortable.
For you, I think this geometric purse because it looks really interesting!
Well of course the exact strap I ordered is out of stock, but it is similar to this one. And because it's a good excuse to get it out, I weighed it out at 1 lb 6 oz with strap, in the largest size. That's the bamboo, which will be heavier than the acetate.
I’m gonna go with cat butt purse. WARNING pair of balls
I bought this one which is nice but I'm not actually much of a purse person. I have been using this instead and I actually freaking adore it.

Amazon!
Depends on the walk.
I have a little croasbody bag that I love. This isn't exactly the one I have but it's similar (mine actually has a thinner strap which I prefer).
I also have a super low profile cargo belt that's great.
I also mostly wear cargo Capris which tend to hold enough stuff and are comfortable.
Finally, doggy backpacks. Even the smaller packs can hold plenty: extra leash, poop bags, etc. I don't put more important things in the bags but it helps clear up the only need sometimes or probably won't need clutter.
Amazon. It’s a Vera Bradley bag.
I still carry a mini back pack. Mine is very colorful, but they do make some nicer looking ones. Like this, this, and this.
The men in my office, if they carry anything, carry a regular not fancy back pack or a plastic bag with their lunch in it.
The one I got isn’t the best quality, but was $20 with 2-day shipping, it looks great, and I am absolutely in love with it! Here you go!
I feel like there are so many bags that meet your requirements.
S-ZONE Women's Leather Handbags Lightweight Large Tote Casual Work Bag https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NBFBN83/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_yM3JybRHDF71N
Is this tote bag worth it? I'm not familiar with purses or bags, and especially not familiar with materials.
I also like plain purses I found this one and it's leather so it should last.
Here is a nice alternative which happens to be cheaper and bigger if the previous one wasn't big enough.
Edit: just saw the first one has already been posted so here is one more and another just in case
This one is very cute but the size might be the deal breaker.
This one looks like it has more space but is kinda just a "one huge pocket" type. Still a good looking handbag.
This one has more pockets on the inside than the other one mentioned above,is black and cute with a long strap.
This one has a more structured body. Better looking pockets that are separated/all throughout the middle. Detachable strap + smaller handles.
This one is bigger but has no large strap. The two handles should be able to be put on a shoulder. Lots more space + pockets.
I might add more links, just wanted to post a comment with a few recommendations!
Edit: more links!
This one is like half structured and half baggy. No big strap but possibly large enough straps to go over a shoulder. Even though it's semi floppy I think it would be easy to keep organized and is big enough for many items + has smaller pockets.
This one is very cute but sadly doesn't come in black. I think this brown "coffee" color could still go with many outfits. The outside is aesthetically pleasing to look at, the inside has many pockets and a lot of space for usual purse items.
This one is very stylish, structured with a big strap + smaller handles. Not much going on inside but if you are looking for a big purse with a big main pocket then this is probably the best one. You can unzip the sides for a little extra room and it appears to have little metal feet on the four corners so standing it up beside a desk would work out.
Edit 2: one more
This one is plain but fashionable. Multiple pockets inside, structured. No large strap but large handles.
I've been carrying a simple black cross body purse for years and I love it. Kadell's "Leather Crossbody Shoulder Bag" might interest you.
