Wears a UGA Trucker hat, Costa del Mar tortoise sunglasses with UGA croakies, leather belt with UGA stamps, UGA tall wallet, rainbow flip flops or dock shoes, questionably short Columbia, Ralph Lauren or Vinyard Vines shorts, checkered/plaid button down with sleeves rolled up, drives a jacked up Z71 (perfectly clean) with UGA license plate frame, UGA vanity plate, UGA window decal, Browning window decal, Yeti decal. Drinks Bud Light or (if they wanna project they have taste and like craft beer) Fat Tire with a UGA or Yeti coozie.

Went to Kennesaw or Valdasta State University and works at Dad's local business.

That's around what I carry as well. Depending on how much you are looking to spend there are a lot of options.

If your cards keep bending maybe look at something with vertical slots.

On the cheap end, check out Big Skinny wallets - they have some wallets that are leather on the outside and nylon on the inside. They carry very slim but are rather roomy.

I carried this exact wallet for about a year. Held up well. There are other options though.

There's also Saddleback which a lot of people around here seem to like. The quality is good from what I have heard. A bit more pricey.

Bellroy also makes some nice slim wallets. A bit pricey for me though.

I currently carry one of these: Levart card holders. I like it a lot, but I've been looking at these Gun Deck wallets, as well.

Here's another thread with a lot of wallet recommendations from a while back. If you want to take a look there. I am aware of a lot of leather options, but check here for something a bit different. You can search for "wallet" in this sub and find some similar threads.

I use the Chum's Keychain Wallet.

Includes: Keyring for Vehicle, House Key, Work Key, and Leatherman Micra

Two zipper pouches, one for cash/coins, other for cards (medical/auto insurance, State Bar Card, Debit Card, Library Card).
Outside pocket for most often used items (Driver's License, Credit Card, Magnetic Keycard for Work). Man, nothing is less minimalist than being married with childre

Grab this + cell phone (where I store all my loyalty cards in Google Wallet) every morning and I'm out the door. Well, after grabbing wife (whom I carpool with to work) and baby (who goes to daycare).

Pistachio butter Would make a great unique gift.

Cosmos and Neil DeGrasse Tyson related

One of Louis C. K.'s DVDs. All his DVDs are pretty cheap on Amazon.

Mets wallet

So much Licorice!

Fun book all about New York.

You're sweet to want to treat him to gifts. Happy early Birthday to your dad! I love shopping for others.

Edit to add coffee Community Coffee is made in New Orleans and living in South Louisiana it's the coffee king down here. Where I live there is a CC's coffee house on every corner like Starbucks in Seattle. I had to recommend this coffee to you for your dad. The Cafe El Special is the smoothest greatest coffee.

I have this Columbia Security wallet because I travel a lot, and I don't like carrying big bags. This carries all of my credit cards and ID, as well as some cash. I can put it in my pocket, a small crossbody, or anywhere! I love it.

If you want a thin wallet above all else, I'd recommend the Big Skinny models. They have a variety of different sizes, and their claim to fame is their thin nylon material, and card placement designs. I use a Big Skinny Open Sided Mini Skinny, which is pretty small but has a leather face, and easy access to the 2 main pockets.

They're not the most attractive, but they're pretty cheap and hold up well. The leather is a really thin top grain, so it gets scratched up easily but looks alright.

  1. This wallet is the most expensive thing on my wishlist.

  2. I really just loved it because it's beautiful and I adore Michael Kors.

  3. I would be okay with that. I don't need to own expensive things. Sometimes, they're just pretty and make you feel good.

Now I'll be singing Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds all day long... & I'm okay with that.

PS. I like this contest because it had me re-examine the things on my "expensive list"... the most expensive thing (above) is pretty but not really "useful" but my second most expensive is. Maybe I should re-think my priorities!

I carry a Timbuk2 ID money clip. It holds the four cards I need (credit, ATM, driver's license & health insurance card) and has a nice money clip on the other side.

It costs less than $20.

Used to carry a Dash. When it wore out, I really decided I missed a place to store my coins because they'd fall out every now and then. The Chums wallet has two zippered pockets as well as a quick access pocket, a keyring so there's less one thing to grab, and is less than half the price of a Dash to boot.

My friends all make fun of me for being paranoid. I dunno. Frees a pocket as well.

I also have one of these
that I cut the wings off of and sewed so it's thinner. It's better quality but I didn't do a good job and it looks kind of ghetto :/ I like it better b/c it's more like a pocket in your waistband. You don't have to take it out to slip bills or a metrocard out of it.

I saw this nes controller somewhere at a brick and mortar store like a decade ago and got it, still holding up better than I expected.

I've had this Umbra wallet for forever, and still love it.

I'm also eyeing the mojito as well. It's been sold out for a bit, but hopefully they'll restock soon.

u/yotama · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

I use the Umbra Bungee Wallet. Never looking back: Holds a lot of cards. (Note: I rarely use cash but when I do, I use this:

I searched a lot for such a wallet and had luck with Chums Surfshort Wallet

Not the slimmest you could find but it's functional and secure with two zippers and importantly it has an integral keychain and a pocket for such keys. For me it's a must since I can use one Tile to find both my keys and the wallet (and because I still struggle with clutter I search for it quite often)

u/shakyjellyfish · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

I have a Chums Surfshort Wallet because I wanted something that could hold up to a lot of abuse.
It fits easily into my back pocket, has a clear ID window, a cash compartment, and a space where i can slide my lip balm. It may not be beautiful, but it's very functional.

Safepocket "compact wallet"

First one made it 8 years of EDC until it was smashed by accident. Bought 2 more, should last me the rest of my life.
