I'd look at this for a survival kit. As long as you diligently replace anything you use, it can replace a lot of stuff. For bug spray, get something as close to 100% DEET that you can find. Carry concentrated and dilute just before use.

Add a handkerchief; you'll never run out of uses for it. It can prefilter your water, be a wash cloth, pot holder, keep the sun off you neck (get it wet to keep you cool), etc.

I read earlier the recommendation to weigh everything individually. I can't overemphasize this enough. You'll have a few "holy shit" moments where you realize how much something weighs.

wish i could find the stuff that they use in the military for wound-packs though.

I'm a nurse and we use live swords in our iai training so I made sure our dojo had a good first aid kit.

Ventolin is (at least in the US) prescription only. If your students have severe asthma they should bring their inhaler. For heart attacks you want full-strength aspirin on hand. Hypoglycemia, have disintegrating glucose tabs.

First aid kit or survival kit. I keep something like this on me at all times anyways.

We've gotten these from a medical supply chain online or from people that work in health care, if you want I'll see if I can get a cheaper link.

We get nose tork pretty much exclusively from APT.

I know others are out there - but I've never seen one that compact be so complete. This is the closest I've seen, but it's lacking medical. I suppose you could stuff the same supplies you have in there too.

::EDIT:: This one isn't bad either.

Finally there's a t-shirt that says I found this humerus. Look it up. My brother bought it for me for Christmas a while back. I did find it humorous. It's my favorite shirt.

Get them a FIRST AID KIT!

It'll mean a lot coming from someone who's in medical school, and it's a useful practical thing to have.

Johnson & Johnson sells an empty first aid bag that is free with the purchase of five J&J first aid items, or $5-10 on its own. I've seen it in grocery stores and drugstores.

Build Your Own First Aid Kit

I picked one up, and am pretty happy with it. It was easy to hit five J&J items between band-aids, gauze, tape, Benadryl and more band-aids. It is reasonably sturdy, light, and has useful pockets inside to keep things organized.
