There's nothing cheap about that setup. By the time you buy all the nipples, couplings, and fittings you could probably buy a better one at the local sports store.

I prefer the ones with the brackets that you screw inside the door opening. They're a lot safer IMO. I've used the same one since the early 1980s that I got with a pair of inversion boots and it's still in good shape. I have replaced the screws, though, because after moving a few times the screw heads were too marred to use.

I use it to hang upside-down, or partially upside-down. It stretches the spine (AKA traction) providing relief of back pain, or in my case, nerve pain from extruded discs.
