I know it is not MFA's favorite brand but I actually like some of the Diesel swim trunks if you have the physique to go short. I have a pair I wear when I swim laps, and if you can avoid the ones with huge branding I think they work well. They make some that are 20% elastine, so they'll comfortable stretch no matter how swole your thighs get.

First of all congrats on asking this question early enough. Now is your chance to find rooms to stay more easily and potentially totally save a lot of money.

Personally I dont care what you wear, you do you. The only thing I hate is wearing cheap Trachten lookalikes, like shorts with Lederhosen style or overly sexual and crazy coloured Dirndl. I also prefer the classic white shirts over the checkered ones, but I'm a minority in that regard.

The important question will be if you really want to spend a combined 300-500€ on clothes that you might only wear once.

These are a pair of, yes, swim trunks that I have. I get plain colors like black that don't look like swim trunks and cut the liner out for working out in...

They are the perfect length of above the knee. But aren't only half way down your thigh short. The problem is they don't stretch, do you can't squat in them.

The material is also perfect Obviously they have that "swim trunks feel" but I absolutely hate those thin polyester athletic shorts (the kind that get staticy out of the dryer). And Don't want thick cotton shorts either.

My time to shine! I was always stuck with swim trunks that are way too revealing because they're not designed for me, but all the normal "board-shorts" have these outlandish gaudy colors that look ridiculous on me. I finally found a pair of Kanu Surf shorts that I really like. I'm 6'4" and they're very comfortable.

they fit good and look good. I bought 2 units and the other one doesn't give me this problem: the inner piece of cloth gets into the slit of my ass (don't know how to explain it better) and it's very uncomfortable.

What's the reason and how do I fix it?

As a swimmer, I relegate my speedos to when I actually want to swim as fast as I can.

What I find sexy is like the equivalent to a speedo booty short.

This is what I would wear if I was on like a cruise or something lol. You don’t stick out like a sore thumb with a racing suit, but you still look sexy.

As for the wrinkles, I’m not sure I’ve never had a problem. The only time I see people have problems with wrinkles is when they’re packing LOL. Wrinkles aren’t a bad thing.

Alright, with my experience with swim shorts, is that they can get baggy if they go on too long. The J-Crew shorts you posted seem like they would work well. With that, I'm assuming you want a fit that looks something like this?

edit: downvote all you want, guys, but there were a bunch of questions posted about size charts and no information on leg opening sizes etc. short swim shorts can look like a diaper if they aren't done right and i'm not taking a risk on the very first batch.
