You can buy a belt for less than $30, homie.

I have this one and it's been good to me so far.

I personally have only ever tried one belt: this one.

So for me, 6.5mm feels a little thin. Maybe you'll have an easier time breaking into it than I did (I got bruises around the belt line pretty frequently my first few weeks wearing mine), but I wonder if it'll make it less durable.

Are either of these legit? I don't plan on competing. Just want a good belt for $100 as it's for a Holiday Gift thing with a $100 cap.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can shed some light on this. Just want something better than the old-school prong belt I have now. Was told 10mm lever is the way to go. These seem ok?

Strength Shop Canada seems to be all out of stock of my size 10mm belts so I took to Amazon to check some out

Thanks!

I got this one from Amazon! It has really good reviews, so hopefully I like it!

Best belt for the money. Incomparably better than the rogue belt. It has a locking buckle system so the Velcro never wears out. It is faster and easier to get on and off during WOD’s.

My last question(s) about belts (I swear!) before I will actually order one.

Is anyone here around 5'4" and uses a belt with 13mm thickness and can tell me how it is/if it's too much? All around my size seem to use 10mm belts.

Also, is there any belt that I can order in Germany that is 3" wide while having adequate thickness? All of them seem to have 6.65cm thickness which is too little.

Bestbelts isn't an option because their stuff is a bit too expensive, I'm a poor student so I have to resort to the slightly cheaper stuff. Right now I'm looking at this one, which is only around 53€ in Germany, so a pretty decent deal I'd say. But well, it's 4"...

Full disclosure: $16 is after I applied $2 in Discover points

I got a belt like this on amazon for like $35 a few years ago and it's worked just as well as I imagine a $100+ one would. The one I have also has no brand markings/logos, so it's been approved at USPA meets where they assumed it was an Inzer belt because it looks the exact same

I prefer lever belts personally and just picked up some cheap one on Amazon. Routinely deadlift 500+ish on it without issues.

Anyone here have any experience with JedNorth belts/straps? They any good? If not, which brand should I look into?

Also, any opinions on this one?

Theres a really good belt on amazon for 26 bucks. It's a perfect beginner belt. And if your on a budget but need one and dont want to use your gyms. Then I would check it out. Here is a link, idk if itll post. https://www.amazon.com/Lifting-Weightlifting-Competition-Powerlifting-WARRANTY/dp/B06XKS8BZ9/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=powerlifting+belt&psc=1&qid=1572841020&sr=8-4

No idea on quality of this product but this is the tool you'll need with plates but really focus on the eccentric portion of the pull up first before adding more weight.

Wa gonna buy (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B071LPFLYR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_QfxNBbDM3B4HD) .. but you’re right quality is important

Hi, I don't know how big your wife is, but I use this belt https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078RRCPXN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and haven't had any issues with it being too wide. (Unless by wide you mean that the part that rests on her back is too large to be comfortable).

I don't want to deal with chains, I have a cheapo existing dip belt I can modify. I just stumbled across [Brute Belt] (https://www.amazon.com/Brute-Belt-Nylon-Pullup-Squat/dp/B07BYKNDLJ) which seems perfect, but its still going to be 100+ funny Canadian loonie after import. Exceedingly stupid lifehack I'm considering, using a nylon dog leash around the metal loops of my old dip belt.

I have this belt and I really love it!
