It took me about an hour and a half, but that was after already having done the dis-assembly to get to the spark plugs once before. Roughly half of that was actually changing the plugs and the other half was dis-assembling and re-assembling the air intake tubing and valve assembly before and after. You could definitely do it faster if you knew what you were doing - this was my first time changing spark plugs on any vehicle.

One thing I wasn't explicitly warned about and therefore didn't realize is the atypical spark plug diamater: 14mm. I tried to change the plugs last weekend and realized only when I got to removing the first spark plug that the spark plugs aren't standard 3/8 or 5/8 inch diameter, so my sockets wouldn't work. The HR engine (at least) takes 14mm - I think all VQ35s might take the same. I ordered this socket off amazon.ca since I was able to get fast shipping. It seems 14mm plug sockets advertised for BMWs will do the trick.

I ordered these spark plugs off ebay.ca, the whole set of 6 NGK laser iridium plugs was just under $100 USD. I made an effort to get the best plugs I could find, so you could probably find cheaper if you wanted. I think it's worth it to spend the extra ~$50 for the best though.

Yep you can do it all in car. Just did it.
Don't even have to remove the core support and bumper. I removed it during reassembly and would HIGHLY recommend pulling the core support and bumper. It's not much more work and it helps a ton.

Engine pull is absolutely not required though.

Pull the two bolts in the oil pan first so you don't forget.

You can slip that in between the two casting tabs on the engine and it will pop it right off without damaging it or screwing with the seal.
Any questions let me know. Job is quite labor intensive the first time it took me around 50 hours taking my time . But once you do it a few times it can be done in about four hours.

Plan a 3 day weekend at least.

This polishing kit is what I used.

I am very skeptical of how long it will actually last but they definitely made them look better, not like new but much more clean.

OK, as long as there really isn't a power decrease while driving I am fine with it. It looks/sounds cool (and I kept the stock intake just in case).

Top pad basically rests in front of the stock spoiler, side straps go in the corners of the tiny side windows. Works great for me though they don't officially support using it on a Z.

Also when mine failed I only got the Cat Inefficiency code. Replaced the sensor, ran my scan, reboot it, bam no codes after that.

It has been fine, no complaints.

I actually removed the whole muffler. If you look up the exhaust for our car, it's 3 pieces from the downpipes. The Y pipe, the midpipe w/ resonator, and the muffler. The shop actually cut just before the flange for the muffler. Then added a new piece to the resonated exhaust tip.

Edit 2) That looks like a screw on tip. Look up resonated exhaust tip on Amazon or eBay. They usually are weld on style. There is DC sports, hks, and other brands.

Edit 3. So it is actually more then $35 now. Here it is though. Look for something similar to it.
