AlumiSeal is also a real easy, low risk additive you can put in the radiator. Worth the $5.

It does sound like a hose, but I recommend A.S. As a quick easy thing to try for small leaks. It's real safe and a good treatment for the radiator

Man, I wish my 1993 was this mint. If you live in the rust belt, make sure you clean the gunk out of the fenders, bumpers, and frame! As well, you can easily fix your rear coil spring sag with a set of cheap Moog CC255 springs. Trust me, it's worth it.

I don't have RDS, but I do have the JBL Synthesis system, that looks like this.

That said, I have some confusion with the wiring harness...

  1. Do I NEED to pick up a JBL wiring harness just so that I can use the factory amp/sub?
  2. Can I use the regular wiring harness like this one, or will I need to pick up another one?

    Thanks

Not a single decent choice for a yellow coated bulb out there.

Get a can of this paint: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000994BUW/?tag=2402507-20

Clean the lenses carefully and allow them to dry without any smudges/dust/dirt/oils. Then one light base coat, and one or two medium-heavy coats to follow.

You'll get perfect selective yellow tint.

PO put a good one on mine but idk where he got it from. I can upload a picture tomorrow if you remind me lol.

Edit: Actually it looks like [this one] (https://www.amazon.com/Custom-Accessories-38011-Gripper-Steering/dp/B000BPSVV4)

It looks to be made by Westin. I just got a very similar one (same light mounting spots, same sticker, same look) for my taco. Here is a link to the one I got if it helps :)

I used this one (on my Duramax not 4Runner), because it said it used a 75/140 weight, but I never added any friction modifier. I would find the weight of the stock fluid and simply buy whatever brand you're comfortable in that weight.

It was a lot:

I did a Sony XAV-AX100 + Scosche kit + Metra harness + Metra antenna adapter + another adapter + Metra ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Controls + backup camera.

To be clear, it was kinda a bitch to get it all installed and working but 100% worth it now. Shoutout to /u/bon_temps for the camera link and advice, looks completely factory once installed.

Its for snow. Theyre on the back end of a lot of ice scrapers. Like this

It’s hard for me to tell what you broke. But the standard wiper is a screw/bolt on wiper. What you broke I’m not sure as I said, doesn’t look like the slider either.

Good news is that there is an adapter. I recently purchased one but have not put on yet, first impression was it should do as expected. It should convert from a screw type to a standard mount.

Update for anyone who might have searched for this:

I ordered this cheap OBD2 reader from ebay and it pulled up fault code P1135, which is a faulty air/intake sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1).

The replacement sensor is about $95 on Amazon.

These are the rotors and brake pads I put on my 2001 and have no complaints.

Not sure about your other problem.

I have been looking at this exact same thing for a while. A lot of information on the toyota-4runner.org site. Take a look here. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/165065-5th-gen-4runner-lift-buyers-guide.html

For now, here is what I have learned:

For Bilstein 5100's, you can use just the shock on the front to get a little lift on the stock springs. I don't think you can get more than 1.75" on the front without replacing the springs. Also keep in mind that you'll need a spring compressor. Be careful with that. Then when you put them on the rear, you'll need to add a spacer. A lot of people do a 1" spacer on the rear to level it out. Overall, this will not give much lift but the ride is supposed to be amazing.

I am looking to do about the same as you. I'm going to shoot for 2.5" in the front and between 1.5-2" on the rear. For that I will just have to see if I need longer brake lines when I do the install. I do plan on doing the diff drop just to avoid future problems. I've read that you don't need to change upper arms if the lift is less than 3".

This kit will give me 2.5" in the front and 2" in the rear. It also comes with a differential drop kit and uses Bilstein 5100's. It fits 5th gen 4Runners. http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/FJ-Cruiser4RunnerGX460-Ultimate-3-lift-package_p_905.html

Edit: I forgot to mention, I am also going to add rear air bags for when I have a heavy load. They are only about $100. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CW6IBU/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
