By far my favorite IFTTT script is for my security camera at the front door of my house. When motion is detected, my camera system shoots out an email with a still image to the IFTTT email address. Basically, my wrists buzzes with a picture of who is at the front door every time someone walks up to my house. Technology is amazing.

FYI - this is the security system I bought off Amazon:

You can buy a standard gold replacement watchband that will work on the Gear Live (not sure about G Watch). I did the same but got a black stainless steel version for mine (22mm). You'll need to get different watchband spring bars, as the spring bars included with the Gear Live will not work with the bands below due to the little handle they added.

Just arrived from Amazon. Pretty happy with it, so far.

I bought some of this for my G Watch and I am pleased with the results.

Edit: I use this instead of a screen protector. It helps with fingerprints and somewhat protects the screen.

I've ordered mine, we'll see when it arrives. I can tell you my old Sony Smartwatch 3 did an admirable job. The issue is cycling and taking your eyes off the road to look at data on your wrist. It's harder than it sounds. I purchased this but honestly never tested it out.

How is the battery life? Are you doing any sleep monitoring with it? As for the fitness bands, they do have one! Check out the Sony Smartband! I bought one for my fiancee. She really likes it: Sony Smartband SWR10 - Black http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HQIFKWW/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_M-7wub1XQ7ECS

Amazon.co.uk with quick release pins.

BTW mine came apart around the clasp, because I went running with it, and there is no stitching where it's really needed. Glued it back together with brushable Loctite Super Glue. Like new in 20 seconds.

It's a Braun watch. It's not a mockup you can buy that watch right now if you want to.

He probably said that the Moto 360 was inspired by Braun's minimal design.

I'm working on my first ever watch face that has been inspired by the Function watch face and my own Skagen Titanium watch.

As someone who switched his Citizen Eco Drive Dive Watch for the Moto 360, I think it feels very small and light. Like /u/wifflebb said, it's a matter of opinion.

I can also answer any questions people have on the watch and give comparisons (I've owned every AW watch except the Sony SW3)

Are both cheaper and still very decent. The Anker heahphones if you see them are just and OEM rebrand along with Sportzbeatz+ are kinda shitty and stuttery

and these are only..... $10 on amazon

if you have iOS, don't buy an android wear device at all. Android Wear devices will not have as deep of a connection to iOS and all you will get is notification mirroring and the time. You will not get actionable notifications (reply to texts, answer calls, control music, etc) and you will not get fitness data either.

If you own an Android device, then sure, get a cheap watch, but I would advise against the original Moto 360. It will not get any more updates from where it is right now and it is severely underpowered. Plus, its battery life is reportedly not great and the back panel (next to your wrist) is cheap plastic that has a habit of cracking if your wrists aren't big enough.

If you are looking for something to just tell the time and mirror notifications, a Martian Notifier is much cheaper, mirrors notifications, and uses two batteries. One is a typical watch battery for the face. The other powers a the small screen within and is charged via micro USB.

As an Android Developer I basically only wear {favorite band} t-shirts. I have a marry 'em and bury 'em suit with dress shirt but have not worn it with the watch. In fact I never wear long sleeves except in that suit. Running my finger down the band I don't think the fine mesh would tear up anything but I have no experience to back that up.

It is similar the band I had on my Huawei watch and I did wear dress shirts with it more than once without any issues. Maybe I just got lucky or did not have the shirt on for long enough for it to be affected.

Here is the link to the bands I got.

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TKTKVV6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The picture is actually wrong as the mesh one I got does not have a metal closing clasp. It has a magnetic end to the strap. I have not tried the metal link band (shown on left in main picture)

I read the same thing... Was nervous as it could of been a fatal flaw; however, I didn't seem to have any problem - even after stepping quite aways away. I was using the Jabees Bluetooth receiver.
